He's quite small too, bigger strikers can get the better of him. He's inconsistent, but young. Don't think he'll ever be a center back, more suited to being a holding player. He gets a lot of slack but he's probably not ready for the this level at the moment. But he formed an okay partnership with Kaboul. He needs some one experienced next to him, but with Ben-Haim probably even worse than Wilson and a 35-year old left-back as his partners, he's not being given any favours.

When you watch him week in, week out, it's annoying he doesn't get more game time cos he can be so brilliant. His passing is superb at times, his physicality is fantastic, he's just very inconsistent, mainly down to age and lack of games in a row, but if we sell him I really will be gutted, he's only been here 3 years, only 20 years old, it wouldn't be like Fergie to sell someone off without a decent chance of showing what talent they've got, sometimes he's the buzz we need in a game. -------------------

	I think it's mainly down to playing deeper. At Gremio and Porto he was always up the field, playing behind the strikers, but whilst Scholes is still around he'll keep playing deeper, which brings his more physical side to the front. The only time he plays behind the strikers is in a 4-5-1. Some may mock but I think he'd do well in the Arsenal midfield, he'd probably get a lot more freedom to roam around and his passing would most likely be more effective. I aint giving up on him yet though. -------------------

	Yeah I also agree with you there mate. You would think he would be a better player in the Arsenal midfield. Anyone think Steven Pienaar would be a brilliant player for Arsenal? I've heard him linked with a move away from Everton, and I thought Arsenal would be a good move for him.

	^Anderson on the left wing would not work any better than Nasri/Rosicky. He played there once this season (against Burnley I think) and never again man, never again. Anderson shits all over Fabregas. Seriously though, I would be disappointed if he leaves just because Veloso shows up. I'd rather see Carrick leave although tbh, if Scholes retires this season, no one will necessarily need to go. Anderson's not a bad player, just really inconsistent like Rich said. He's got good strength and has the ability to pick out a great pass at times and his dribbling isn't half bad either.
