He got a goal and assist tonight too.

I must admit, other than the past 2 games and his cameo when he got injured I havnt seen him much over the past 2 months. So thats why I was saying he was a little ahead of himself.

If he continues this form until the end of the season, you wont find me arguing this point. He has been a class act lately.

I counted the goal tonight in my figure of 11, it was whether he got an assist or not tonight that I wasn't sure about.

He'll be on the shortlist for player of the season, I've no doubt. He'll probably be on the young player one aswell, although I think they should make the age cap for that award lower.

Another player who played very well tonight was Rosicky. Good to see, he hasn't always had the biggest impact in the Premiership but I think he plays better in a 4-3-3. He ran at Bolton and caused problems. It's a shame Nasri's injured, I think him, Cesc and Rosicky would link up brilliantly. Hope Diaby's not going to be out injured now, we're running short of midfielders. When's the ACoN over?

The Davies' were very impressive. Cohen was fairly poor. Taylor shot from anywhere. It's a shame he could be dangerous, if he wasn't so bloody useless in certain aspects.

Shame for Mark Davies that, having had last season end prematurely, and struggling to feature much under Megson, his first start gives him potentially (if what I hear is correct and his ankle's broken completely) his season ended prematurely again.

The Crouch claim for a pen, also, 50/50. Both had hold of each other, and I suppose had it been at the other end, or at Old Trafford, it could have been different, but I feel we deserved the win tonight.

Reina was good when called into action.
Carra played well, which is becoming all too much of a rarity now.
Skrtel and Kyrgiakos were solid, Kyrgiakos especially, great game from him, could have gotten a goal too.
Insua was quiet, but did his job.
Degen was quality. He is impressing at the moment, top three tonight if you ask me.
Masch and Lucas were both good. Masch threw himself everywhere, but Lucas was a little sloppy. Needs a haircut, it worked last time.
Riera was very good. Been wasteful when played this season, but his distribution in the final third was much better.
Aquilani - class act. Hard to deny this, his touch, his cool, and his passing range and ability almost emulate that of Alonso.
Kuyt was good. Missed two absolute sitters, but his goals were taken well, and on the basis of his goals, deserved the MOTM

What does everyone else think of this assessment? Seems like everyone played well and the team did too.. is that so?

I'm just guessing who played where, assuming 4-2-3-1... Aquilani did well in the hole? Degen played well out right?

well Arsenal got the result last night. Iv watched quite a lot of Arsenal this season. and I got to say.I think they'll win the league if they keep Cesc fit they just look so good especially the way they demolished Villa 3-0 a few weeks ago.I know a lot of Arsenal fans won't want to get they're hopes up but if I was an Arsenal supporter I'd find it hard not to.

With any luck Wiley will take one look at the tape, realise he has just made a dreadful error, tell the FA he didn't see it and give Gallas the three game ban he deserves.
