Anways, Muniain, Thiago, and Canales are going to be immense by the time the next World Cup comes around. Hopefully Muniesa will start getting some time, and can take over for Capdevilla or Puyol for Spain. -------------------

	Noooo, Joan ftw! I remember him back from the days at Depor with that magical squad along with Luque, Fran, Pandiani, Diego Tristan and Molina. No Muniesa kid will ever be able to take his place, he can just replace Puyol. Also I hope our Aaron Niguez returns from Celta, he is class and Emery fails to see that. Also, add Valladolid's Alberto Bueno to that list, along with Francisco Merida, and you have a full list of wonderkids waiting to break in the squad. EDIT: Yay for Corona, 1-1! 	Aaron was out at Rangers last year right? I like Capdevilla, but he'll start getting a bit old when the 2014 WC comes buy. Monreal will probably get the LB spot then though. Azpilicueta might be challanging Ramos for a spot. But then again, Pique and Ramos at CB, with Monreal and Azpilcueta at fullback would be quality. -------------------

	Yes, he was at Rangers, but we have been sending Aaron all around the world during the last seasons, which is kinda stupid cause we don't actually have a solid back-up striker to Villa. Zigic is there and he scores crucial goals, but I can't escape the feeling that he just doesn't fit our playing style. Monreal is quality and I definitely agree that he might get Capdevila's place in the 2014 World Cup, although I do prefer Ramos over Azpilicueta (that is unless we see some drastic improvements in the young Basque's skill as a right-back) and Albiol as a centre-back. He may have sold us out to join the cash cows but nobody can deny the fact that he is one of the most solid Spanish defenders. ------------------- Thanks Pompey Fan for the awesome sig!!!

	Well, I hope it will be a one team race like back in 2003-2004 when we won the treble. But that is what my heart says. On the other hand, I think we will stay third for quite a while, maybe even do better, depending on your form. 	I'd say depending on how many slip ups Barca and Madrid get, Valencia have a chance. But both Valencia and Sevilla are less consistent as the top two. But the race this year is even more open, then the race for Europe pretty much includes half the league. Barca, Valencia, Madrid, Sevilla, Mallorca, Deportivo, Getafe, and you can never count out Athletico or Villarreal. And because of how the teams in the Copa got grouped up, I'd say there are quite a few teams in with a chance for getting into the Europa League through the cup. Because now making it to the final normally means you'll get the spot, as the other finalist tends to be a top 6 team. Let's say the unthinkable happens and almost all of the teams that have the advantage of the first leg make it through. We could see Sevilla - Depor, Mallorca - Malaga, Recreativo - Celta, Hercules - Racing. From there let's say Depor/Sevilla - Mallorca (I'd go for Mallorca over Deportivo because I don't see Depor getting a point in the island), Recreativo- Hercules. So the final could easily be Mallorca/Sevilla - Hercules. But even if it doesn't all work out that way, it is very likely that a Segunda division team will make it to the final, and if they go up against Valencia/Barcelona/Mallorca/Sevilla/Depor, there is a good chance just getting there will be enough for the Europa League while still in the Segunda division, or just after getting promoted (likely in Hercules' case). Although I think Hercules' chances depend most on whether they can hold on to the advantage over Osasuna, because if Osasuna make it through all the way to the final, I wouldn't bet on them losing. -------------------

	It is probably one of the most exciting seasons yet in the league. And with Valencia currently winning away to Xerez they are just 5 points behind Barcelona. Other scores at the moment are: Deportvio 1-0 Osasuna Espanyol 2-1 Zaragoza Malaga 1-1 Bilbao Sporting Gijon 1-0 Getafe Xerez 1-3 Valencia EDIT: Marchena just scored. Good goal and it's 3-1 Valencia Great win for us, completely dominated and didn't even give Mallorca a sniff. 2 brilliant goals aswell from Higuain and Granero Pity that VdV went off though because with Diarra at the ACON we're a little bit short in midfield but I'm confident that Guti, Gago and Granero will fill in for them Now if Tenerife could get something from their game then we stay top:) Edit: Jan 10, 10 ------------------- Credit to jmste! 	Pedro has been getting all the hype this year. Pedro did good while he was on, but it was infact an own-goal by Luna. Messi did great, as did the whole team (except Marquez, he was shit). Good to see that we came back from starting out being dominated, into dominating the game. Also if I'm not mistaken, Bojan got three assists today, all to Messi. Edit: Jan 10, 10 -------------------
