Liverpool have been mostly inadeqate for the best part of this season and Man City have failed to live up to their billing. I can see Liverpool winning as City are still lacking some unity..although the way Liverpool are going, I wouldn't bet on it.

Personally think this has draw written all over it. City have most of their players available and in Shay Given have a top keeper who can win points on his own. Liverpool still have some injury doubts I believe (could be wrong) and haven't exactly been firing on all cylinders as of late and I think a point would be a good result for them.

Is Torres gonna be fit again after the Int break?

I'm seeing a Liverpool win all day long on this one.. hope I'm wrong.. normally I'd be like yeah take a point from Anfield not bad, but that would be 6 draws in a row... and that's just a bit ridiculous

Torres is doubtful, but Gerrard and Aquilani will be fit.

Aquilani will be fit but he won't be match fit - so I doubt he'll start. Probably Lucas and Mascherano as a midfield pairing with Alberto getting 20 minutes.

Since it was deemed neccesary to discuss the biggest game of the weekend in an individual thread so the GD/PL threads don't get cluttered, I think it's a great idea personally.

I pretty much the same as BM, usually I'd be happy with a 1-1 draw against City but we need a win.

I honestly don't think there is any outcome of the three possible that I can write off here. If I had to pick a result I would like to see though (as a neutral), it would be an away win. In terms of actually predicting the result, I would probably go for a score draw.

This will be an interesting game. Man City can't stop drawing while Liverpool are in bad form too. However Liverpool turned up against Man Utd so they could turn up against Man City.

They also have Gerrard back. No Torres, but Gerrard's still a great player to have back.

I'm going to go for a 1-1 draw. Gerrard and Bellamy the scorers.

We'll get beat, Bellamy will score, Lescott will score, Aquilani and Gerrard will get injured. As you can tell, im well looking forward to this game. Draw would be a good result, but really we need a win.
