I hate to be finicky, but there's either 3 Lancashire Derbies, or none.

Yeah, but do you really wanna be associated with the Scousers?
Also, for all you betters on the forum stick a big lump on under 2.5 goals in us vs Blackburn. There's no way there'll be 3 goals between the two of us. ------------------- NP IG

Precisely. There's only one Lancashire derby in the EPL, and that's Blackburn and Burnley.
Also, the man speaks sense about the under 2.5. Cue 4-4 thriller. ------------------- ![]() Aston Villa 5-1 Bolton

I probably shouldn't underestimate them but i expect a good thrashing. Wolves should be a piece of cake...regardless of the loss of lampard and Drogba. We have a good enough team. Not to mention we are at home.
And DIOS, tis your turn in the neoseeker world football draft

RVP out for four to six weeks. Not as bad as first feared, but he won't be playing for two months I reckon as it'll be the kind of injury he's going to struggle to shake off.

That's something of a relief. Half the original projected time. Still a long time to be without him but I'm hoping our back-up will be able to step it up. Would also be great if our goals kept coming from the entire team.
Nasri, Arshavin and Rosicky can operate in the wide positions of the front three, we just need at least one proper striker in the centre. ------------------- ![]() Join the Football Forum online FIFA Club! (360)

Make or break for Eduardo. He has to get his finishing touch back, or else he won't ever develop into a regular first teamer whose position isn't in doubt, rather than the squad player he is at the moment.

I'm predicting a shock and dramatic return from Ricardo Vaz Te who will emerge from the tunnel in the 85thminute with the score at 0-0 and be revealed as #mystery sub 7#
He will pick the ball up in the 93rd minute; Skilfully take it round the keeper and in a chance to right all the wrongs of the past he'll... ...fall over! Final score 0-0 ------------------- ![]() credit: BurnleyIsMe

re: Barclays Premier League: Round 13 |
quote jimbo_bwfcYou missed a bit. The referee, clearly confusing Bolton for a different team, awards a penalty. Vaz Te decides it's his time to shine, and takes the penalty. However, he slips and falls during his run up, slices the ball, which somehow makes it spin backwards, Blackburn counter and score in the last minute, as per. Final score 0-1. Allardyce crows to the media that it was all his doing, and he knew Vaz Te would take the penalty like that. He proceeds to slag off his former club, and Davies runs in, floors him, turns round to give the interviewer the thumbs up, only to see Vaz Te bounding in to help. Vaz Te then stops, drops to the ground, and is out for the season with a cruciate ligament. He is now in the hospital bed next to the terminally injured Joey O'Brien (they actually own their own treatment rooms now). Might stick a pound on that. ------------------- ![]() Aston Villa 5-1 Bolton

And Gardner does his cruciates, you know the rules, it's been 2 years and he's playing well he will get injured within the next 2 games.
Also, you forgot to add that it was Jason Roberts who scores their winner, bloody useless prick that only ever turns up against our defence. Also, why are we on TV? I swear the people that pick the games are mentally retarded at times. ------------------- NP IG
