Tevez Considering Retirement |

What a shame for the lad. My heart bleeds for him. On such awful wages aswell. I wouldnt get up and play football for a few hours a day for just £100 000 a week. [size=1][color=#666666]This message was edited by Jambo on Nov 13 2009.

It is terrible that, in these enlightened times, some people are forced to work backbreaking hours for a mere pittance of £100,000.
I feel really sorry for Tevez, especially when there are people in Africa that are living the lap of luxury and dining on three hot meals each day. Perhaps we should organise a Neoseeker fundraiser for unfortunate people such as Tevez and Ashley Cole? ------------------- ![]()

In all fairness, Jambo, making candles is a hard job.

To be fair to him he never mentioned money at all, he pretty much just said he wasn't happy playing football for a few reasons. It's his life and he can do whatever he wants with it, no point hating on someone just cos they are richer then you. If you had a few million in the bank I'm sure you would retire from your job Jambo, unless it's a job you genuinely enjoy. Nobody would stick in a job they hate if they had millions in the bank.

I thought his reason for leaving Man Utd was he wanted more games.

Yes Styot but it takes the piss. The amount of people who would love to be in his position but cant be is never ending. Here he is moaning about being tired, yet other people have no choice. What he is doing is a hobby and not a job.
All that article has said is he is tired, won the CL and he is upset because he lost his place in the international squad. Oh my the worries. I bet he cries hiself to sleep in the mansion he has.

I'd do exactly the same, why work if you don't have too.

If he does retire then it will be disappointing but you can't say your tired when your on over £100,000k a week. If this were to happen and the alleged rumor of Robinho to Barcelona came true, there strike force would take some dent.

Just like Adriano and Ronaldo, he's got all his money and he doesn't want to work for anymore

But his reasons for leaving Man Utd were to play MORE games...what the *bleep*? Somebody arsed with his head at some point these past two years and now hes lost it.
If hes genuinely bored then fine but he wanted more games to play in. I just think hes depressed because he got pressured into going into City and then hes realised they aren't that all conquering. ------------------- I'm sorry, Mr. President...I don't dance.

re: Carlos Tevez Considering Retiring? |

He wants to be with his family which is fair enough. I suppose he could be tired because he Man United never played him enough and City could be playing him too much.
He did say though that he wants a return to Boca Juniors and be closer to his family what I think he will either leave City soon possibly after the World Cup and take a year or two out then return for Boca or the media just made the story up.

quote SamI didn't say you can't be tired, football is a demanding game and it can be tiring but it's just put out that he's going to retire because he's not being played internationally etc. ------------------- ![]()
