I have no knowledge except some positions of the reserve players there and I Fully expect the one's in bold to leave the club, it doesn't leave many playing staff, let alone experienced one, and I also cant see much money coming into the club from them sales/departures.

This will leave the squad majorly depleted and in this day and age with prices on the rise it will be hard to rebuild the squad for whoever gets the managers job.

Im sure he is still rated in Spain. Perhaps one of those would love to splash £5 million on him.

Agreed on Geremi, and also Lovenkrands has all but gone, so you can strike him from the list.

One of the spanish sides, I said £5m as sort of a tops Newcastle would get, £3.5m is probably more realistic, he's only 22 and while he never set the world alight for Deportivo I'm sure someone would take a gamble on him

Yeah I completely forgot they even had him. He did score on his debut but he only made 5 appearances in total. All the managers preferred Owen, Viduka, Martins, Lovenkrands etc.

I said when we bought him that we didn't need another striker, and even though I would have played him over Ameobi (who did play), the fact remains that he didn't really play, and the point about not needing him was (sort of) accurate.

I seem to remember all reports saying he was £5.8m, as for how much he cost. Even without playing much though, he seemed determined to work hard to get into the team, which is a good thing; but there was no way that we could afford to give him that chance when we were in such a perilous position.

Thinking about it, I can see him being loaned back to Spain at first, rather than sold.

Would be nice to have one of the academy lads back
