	Log in to remove this sponsored message Just wondering if anybody's thinking about tickets and travel and whatnot, more than anything I just wanna be in South Africa when it's happening and through a friend staying there shouldn't be a problem, it's just ticket applications and so on I have very little clue about. Apparently it's the second of five sales phases as we speak. So yeah, uh, see thread title and work from there

	in south africa? not a chance plan on going to poland/ukraine for euro 2012 for a bit of a session providing we qualify though

	Going to a World Cup is something i definately want to do before i die! Still, i think that i will most likely have a chance of going to one in Europe (Most likely Italy) than any other continent. 	I'm not touching Seth Efrika. Being mugged, kidnapped, raped and then stoned to death isn't my idea of following my country. Not too keen on Poland/Ukraine either. 	I'd love to but the summer of the world cup is my first summer where I'm no longer a student. I'll be job-hunting/skint. But like wba_4_eva I'll be considering going to the Euros in Poland/Ukraine if we qualify. ------------------- Credit to Memento Mori

	Its definetly something I want to do, most likely when I'm older with the lads! South Africa is defo too far aswell! 	Tbh South Africa isn't as bad as people say, when I went there last summer to see United it was a lot safer than i thought, especially in the main cities, everyone was really warm hearted and always helped you if you needed it. -------------------

Hey, I'm each of those things =D But really, I used to have a similar attitude but now know a few people who grew up there and there'll be all sorts of security provided you avoid the wrong areas (like, you know, england), really put my mind to ease. 	Nope. Do not/will not have the funds to do so. Plus the only attractive/thoroughly safe place in South Africa is Cape Town, which is worrying considering there will be another 10 or so different venues/shitholes to sift through. I fear for the fans who's team is playing in Johannesburg. Utter, utter mess of a place. Whenever my dad goes there, he has to have his own bodyguard to get from the drop-off spot to the hotel, and even then, they advise you not to leave the hotel at all, such are the dangers of the place. ------------------- "Akabusi knew he had a powerful swing but knew more often than not, his balls ended up in the rough. 	Have to agree with you there Jon, I mean when I went all 3 places I visited (Cape Town, Durban & Pretoria), none of them seemed too bad but CT was the nicest by a mile, especially the harbour area, but even in the city centre it seemed quite calm. Durban was ok but we had to stay clear of Jo'burg. Only reason we went there is because that was where the flight from Durban was to, before a drive upto Pretoria. Pretoria wasn't much better but knowhere near as bad as Jo'burg was meant to be. -------------------
