Wembley Cup was awesome. Got there with about 20 minutes to spare for the Al Ahly and Celtic match, although hardly anyone seemed to care about that. I was nearly on Sky Sports dammit, some guy was walking around filming Al Ahly fans but he walked past me. Celtic's new away kit, the bumblebee is hideous in the flesh, an absolute abomination. Score-line was a bit harsh on Al Ahly but it finished 5-0. Tottenham game was good, end to end and Barcelona did well with what was effectively a youth team with one or two experienced players. Well taken goal from Bojan Krkic and a superb header from Jake Livermore. Dorian Dervite came on and i cheered him, he turned around and looked bemused. All in all a good day's play. Although it took an hour to get some food in there.

What was he doing when he was stretching forward? I was sure he was about to plop one out. Where were you sitting Nel?

Turned up early to watch the Celtic game and get a parking space. When walking up the Wembley Way we heard some cars like right next to Wembley, we looked down and there was people drifting there cars. So we watched that for a bit and I have to say they were very good. We then got in and watched the Celtic game, they were okay but that other team they played Al akahaagjfkugjgi were shite. Celtic won 5-0 and that Maloney (i think it was him?) scored a peach of a goal up in our end as well, looked nice.

The game then ended and we clapped Celtic off. Waiting for some Tottenham players to come out and look who I see come out, the best player in the world Messi. Everyone got up and cheered him as he ran around the Wembley pitch and 5 times and he didn't even look knackered. After 2 laps I would of been dead. He was the only Barca player out there then about half an hour later our team come out and the Barca team come out. Well you know how much cheers our team got!

I was thinking were the hell was Bent and Pavvy. Well after just getting up and looking on COYS he didn't play because he said he didnt want to play because he wasn't going to be taken to China with some of the Squad. Which means he is going. Anyway, they all warmed up and we waited for the team to come out, crowd filled up and the cheers was quality, everyone stood up.

We got outplayed by them in the 1st half, the passing is just well amazing. We was just chasing shadows. Toure was the one who impressed me along with Eider, both ran the show. For the goal what on earth was our defenders doing? We put about 5/6 slide challengers in but still couldn't get the ball, good finish and run though I have to say. I thought after that we would of had the ball more, but no they still outplayed us because we just couldn't get the ball back and we kept giving it away. I blamed the formation and the shape of the team. Disgraceful that was from Harry, Defoe just doesn't work in a 4-3-3/4-5-1 (it was one of them we played) formation on his own. So at half time they bought on a whole new team and we made 4 changes which helped us because we had more of the ball. We made a few changes later on and it worked. Naughton was quality IMO strong, fast, got a good cross on him and looks good defending. Livermore and Bostock weren't too bad but there didn't have much time to shine. I went mad when Livermore scored, me and my brother started the 'Yiddo' chant off!

That Dos Santos's brother didn't do anything, he passed the ball once across the field. Didn't impress me.

Huddlestone's passing was orgasmic, he didn't do too much but my god I love when he spreads them right over the Lennon. Quality.

We need a new defender if Dawson, Woodgate and King are going to be out. I can see exactly why we want Crouch, no one at all in our team can hold the ball up, it just keeps coming back.

Oh yeah that Billy Wingrove and that other dude who was on Britains Got Talent cant remember his name though were both quality.

Good day out overall and I would love to go again some time!

Martins is playing his first pre-season friendly today, alone up front with Nolan playing just behind him. Nolan's played in a similar position in the past 2 games and got goals in both, could be a good role for him.

I don't think Caceres played, it was mostly a youth team that they put out. Jsmte, where were you situated and also why did every Tottenham fan cheer when Hutton seemed to touch the ball, the player with number 2 anyway. Think that's Hutton.

We're linked with Mark Allot. He only signed for tranmere a couple of weeks ago.

Caceres did play, he started the first half. I was in block 136, row 39 and seat 34. We cheered Hutton because Celtic fans booed him because he is a rangers fan/played for Rangers.
