Essentially, with the amount of rumours that fly around with the big spending teams such as the big four, coupled with the sheer amount of fans they each have in the forum, it just means that a single transfer and rumour thread moves at a hectic pace, and not only is it hard to keep up and read through your own teams transfer news, but in creating a new thread for each of the big teams it means other fans will find it easier to keep up with their own transfer news in the Transfer and Rumours thread. It worked well last season for the threads we did have, but not sure if it still would this year given the people that will complain about not having a thread.

Yes, but the Scottish Football thread isn't too clogged up at all. I think it goes at a steady pace and will continue to once the transfers come flying through. If we took the Old Firm out of the Scottish Football thread it would almost certainly die out. We'd have maybe a handful of members.

Remember the point of these threads is to house discussion that would overwhelm the other threads. We still want them to be active.
