I think you probably will start to see the best of Drogba now. Which is good for you in 2 ways. Firstly you will actually get something out of him this season & secondly you can ask for a decent price when offloading him in the summer.

I just wernt overly impressed with Chelsea yesterday. On another day they would of been beat 2 or 3-1 with the chances Villa created & wasted. Definitly out of the title race (not that theres much of a race, Utd seem to be strolling to the title), but if we slip up Im sure use will be right behind us.

Drogba gives us the long ball option, not pretty watch but effective. Villa could of won or drawn the game, but i thought Cech and Terry we're solid yesterday, as was Lampard. Yeah United's got the title, just about the race for second now.

Liverpool's still got Villa to play haven't they? I think the game at Villa park was 0-0? Can't remember.

Chelsea were far from awesome, they just set up very well indeed. Man United are streets ahead of everyone in this league.

Anyway, Fulham/Baggies match at the moment is brilliant. Murphy hit the left post with free-kick, then Dempsey struck the right post with a cracking left-footed effort, now Murphy just smashed the bar with a curling strike. Three cracking efforts, and Fulham really should have wrapped the points up by now, in what, 39 minutes or so.

Theres a suprise.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion but City have on of the worst away form's in the league (or am i getting mixed up and it's home?)

Its going be an 8-8 draw tbf.

For Manchester City, Stephen Ireland to net 4, Richard Dunne with a hat-trick of 30 yard screamers, finished with a last minute Shay Given penalty, won by himself after his 90 yard slaloming run is ended by a scything Jamie Carragher challenge. For the hosts, Jim Beglin and Phil Babb to come out of retirement and enter the pitch to the music of the Pogues at the start of the second half, before netting 4 each in a dramatic second half, including a 40 yard Babb volley which automatically makes him favourite for the 2009 FIFA World Player of the Year.

This is followed by the Kop unfurling a 100 ft banner at full-time, simply with a huge picture of Steven Gerrard playing a harp and drinking a pint of Guinness.

Very pleased with the result yesterday. Herman yet again helping us get a result. Hart/Kidd are proving to be a decent partnership. If they continue as they are, hopefully Gaydamak will have some sense and leave them in a caretaker position until we find a new buyer for the club.
