Yeah I'd rather we'd kept Gerrard in the middle, and not bought Keane, but it's been done now and I don't see any other way. We aren't going to buy two wingers and have Alonso sitting on the bench (because that means Lucas is third choice DM..). Next summer if we sell Alonso and sign a right winger to compliment the left winger Gerrard can move into the middle, but for now he's gotta go out right.

He isn't exactly wasted there either, he moves into the middle a lot and more or less plays in that behind Torres role. The way he played against Arsenal in the Prem late on in the season is what I'm thinking, and he did well there.

Hell if we'd bought a quality AMC (more creative than Gerrard) I'd prefer Gerrard on the right with him in the middle.

I don't think we will break into the Top 4 this year. Maybe next year though. I like that formation Nel, but I don't think Jenas will be their unless he will sit back [which I cant see]. As I keep saying we definitely need a Centre Back, im worried that we will be like last season and concede loads of goals, which I don't want to see.

Cant wait for tomorrow, better opposition [Celtic] and get to see Bentley play.

I just think it's weird that they've just given Jenas a new contract if they plan to stick him on the bench. I'll be so pissed off if they drop him.

I don't think Dos Santos is ready for first team football yet. You'd be better off with someone else on the left.

True Nel, true. As I said though, I think Jenas will get quite a few games, he may play at the start of the season, which I personally would like to see because he has got more too his game and I think Ramos will get it all out of him some time. Hope he performs well in the games he plays.

Lennon can play their, so we may see him on the left. Don't think Dos Santos will play that many games, I would quite like too see Lennon their though. Its hard to pick a first team because of how many good midfielder's we have now. Think it will be hard for Ramos to keep them all happy.
