Lehmann signs with StuttgartAt the bottom it says we are likely to sign a new keeper. I'm not sure we will, but theres a few promising ones around. I'd like to see us get Joe Hart personally, but its not going to happen.

I'd like to see a top class keeper tbh Akinfeyev got good reviews in this potential stars of the EURO link. And regarding the "nearly" players. Some of these are just agents building up their players so they get more for them. Wouldn't you rather your player was being tracked by Arsenal & Madrid instead of Birmingham & Cadiz? Some of them are genuine ones we missed out on though. I'd have liked to have gotten Pato, Robinho or Ribery ...

Mate it's actually Igor Akinfeev, rather then Akinfeyev
You play too much much Football Manager. Indeed. He seems to be promising considering his age and the level he has played at, but I've only ever seen him play a few times before.

I just want to make sure we get Nasri first to replace Hleb, if we lose out on him, I dont know any possible replacements
Ben Afra? .. I read he wasn't too happy at Lyon. I'd take him. You have to admit, although Ade has been good for us the season gone, he hasn't done it consistantly over a couple of seasons to be considered a great Arsenal player. Although he does need time to show it, even Kevin Phillips and that .. Beattie(?) guy had good seasons before dropping off. £32 would be alot of money, and aslong as we reinvested 85% in the squad, it would be good business.

As I said, he hasn't been able to show that he can do it regularly for seasons yet as he hasn't been around long enough - and theres no reason he cant go on to do well for us if he stays. I'd like to see him stay, but its not the end of the world if he goes - I certainatly wont be bursting in tears at the £32 mil or deleting my Neoseeker account cause of it

You fail, or have impossibly high standards. Have you been to Amsterdam? I didn't see a single woman there that I would say was more than a 6. Maybe you just know ugly girls? Twice in the last two years. Last time was in March. There is definitely hot chicks there - not in the red light district, they are all eastern European or from another poorer nation. There is a lot of dutch talent in the clubs and various bars though

Blah, they somehow avoided me. Tough break dude. We also met some hot german chicks there last time, but I think something got lost in communication as they got really angry with us at some point and the whole thing fell apart.

Will be a shame if he leaves, but I have faith that Wenger will be able to grabs someone from a mid table french team who is just as good after a few seasons.
Lets get Nasri in already. Great to see Clichy get a new deal. He was the model of consistency last season.

Well, Nasri has signed for you lot. Link Still no confirmation on the official site, though. BBC reported the same thing. Its a done deal. Well, theres two midfield signings .. I can't see another striker being purchased, and I doubt theres a goalkeeper coming in. I am not sure, but I think Wenger said he wasn't going to reinforce the defence, although I think he should. Is that it for arsenal in the transfer window, providing no one is sold?

Wenger would be incredibly stupid to think he needs to improve.
What!? .. Wenger would be incredibly stupid to think that Adebayor doesn't need to improve - Of course he needs to improve, every player does. Its all part of their development. He is a good player, but potentially, he could be alot better - just look at C. Ronaldo for a good example on how players can improve over seasons, and what he offers now compared to in his early days.

Wenger seems to never get it wrong with these young players he brings in.
Except for Jaffers .. Oh god that was wrong. And Reyes didnt go to plan, although not a complete bomb, oh and ... etc. etc. He is better than most though =P

Reyes wasn't really a flop, he just didn't settle in England. I didn't call him a flop, I just said he didnt go to plan. He was a good player.
