	terry does seem to be getting worse as a role model these days but it doesnt help the entire chelsea squad are bad role models i beleive if gerrard were to be made captain permantly then his proformances would be more like what we see from him in europe for liverpool which would in turn inspire england as a whole. ------------------- Premiership Pools 07/08 Winner

	How can McLaren get all the blame for everything? We would have qualified if the players performed. Look what having no Beckham did, it has given Lennon, Wright-Phillips and Bentley some vital experience for the future, and all impressed when in the side as well. Fact is, since Euro 2004, Beckham hasn't contributed nothing to England, in such an important position, so we need someone new to try and change things. Why not Rio? He is a good role model for younger players. He is calm when playing and can motivate a team. England is full of superstars and they need a calm head to control them. Gerrard only looks like a good captain for Liverpool because the team is full of average players and him and torres are the only superstars.
