With the tide of mature games coming to be released on the Wii like Scarface and of course Manhunt 2, who knows what else will be released in the future but do you think this will be the goryist. I think so.

Manhunt is the most violent, gorey, gruesome major game out there. You hunt humans, for god's sake! You brutally kill them for a...competition, was it? Or reality show? Either way, it was one of the few titles banned in multiple countries. It will only get worse with motion controls !

Can't wait to see what Jack(ass) Thomson will do about this. Bring it on, bitch!

This IS going to be crowned the most gruesome game on the Wii, no competition and no doubt about it. It's all there, waiting to be crowned already.

Nah, I think Call of Duty is also up there. Manhunt IS gory, but there surely are more games coming out that are worse.

To be fair, the only reason you're hunting humans is because they start hunting you first. It's not exactly the courtroom definition of self defence, but any of them are willing and able to kill you if they catch you in their sights.

If you haven't played the original Manhunt then you don't know how gory this game can get.

Bashing peoples heads in with a baseball bat is always fun.

Not to mention sawing someone's head off with a piece of wire, and throwing it at one of his friends as a distraction.

Obviously the most hideously violent game ever made is soldier of fortune 2 (3 coming out soon!)... it was terrible... you could actually blow the duds limbs off with a shotgun... then as he's falling one more shot to the stomach to produce his guts, then you could cut away at his head with a knife until you could see his brain.... isn't that worth a mention?

Yes manhunt is "gruesome" in the sense that it glamorises (in a way) killing, such as you have to do it to survive... but do it with style. However for all round gore it has to be SOF2.

How can you say Call of Duty 3 is gory. Sure its war but it helps kiddy gamers out there see what proper games are.

I heard in another thread that No more heroes wa supposed to be more violent than MH2.

What about Sadness? This is another game which is supposed to be gory for the Wii. There's been talk that it might get an AO rating...
