'old' vs 'new'

Now I have to find out what you people think about this. Now I will always prefer the old version to that crappy new version, with stupid Triceratops aliens.

Scredder looked so much better, plus that pink brain dude in that speedo wearing giant was great. Long live the 'Heroes in a half shell'.

re: 'old' vs 'new'

Im old enough to remember the original 1987 series and yes its alot better than the new series. I think the film the game is based on is more linked to the films and older series.

The new 'anime' series is nothing compared to the old episodes I remember nursery school and watching it there, oh I miss the 1990s.

Nice to see you agree winnydith, its sad to see this new generation of kids is growing up with that garbage which is the new series. Very sad indeed.

re: 'old' vs 'new'

Sorry, but you guys are all uninformed and kinda stupid.

1. The "triceratops aliens" are Triceratons and they exist in all versions of TMNT. Including the old show

2. The new movie is an extension of the old movies. The shredder isn't in it because the killed him in turtles 2.

3. This is the way it goes. Turtles started as a comic. Which later was dumbed down into a saturday morning cartoon. The Story of the first movie is a retelling of the comic orgin. The 21st century cartoon is a losse interpretation of the comic, as is the movie. the new movie takes place in the same "universe" as the old movies and the new cartoon. The 80's cartoon is great, but isn't the story of TMNT. Sorry

re: 'old' vs 'new'

boohoo it doesnt follow the story of TMNT, who cares. I preferred the old series to the new and i see this beign a recurring theme. Biker Mice from Mars was awesome, then it got crappy. He-Man was amazing to start with then they gave him armour.. sorry but what the hell!?
After time i think they try to do too much with comics.. remember to KISS, keep it simple stupid!

If you wanna know about the cartton, the old one is better. If you wanna know about the movie, the new one is better.

I agree Sacul. I thought this movie was a lot better. The turtles don't seem like stoners as much though.

re: 'old' vs 'new'

I thought the new one was more dramatic. But the old ones can never be replaced. It was a really good movie though.
