Just to get a bit of discussion going on because these forums need to be a bit more popular with such and awesome game.

I'll be purchasing it, will you? I know a lot of people are loving the hunter but I think the smoker sounds pretty cool.

il be buying it for the 360.coop games like this,if done properly are always good,and this looks adrenaline pumping,i can imagine at 12 oclock at night waking people up screaming down my mic for backup or something!!

also theres suggestions it will be cross platform,i really hope they sort it out better than shadowrun if so.

I wasn't aware that this was coming out for the 360. I just knew of a PC release. From the video's I've seen though, the co-op aspect of this looks so well done.

it certainly does,the fact that you have to stay as a team is whats good,i can imagine somebody occasionally sacrificing themselves too.

yeah its gonna be crossplatform like shadowrun,this would be good but the pc version of xbox live on vista is suppose to suck.

I remember reading something about how one person in the team had gone up ahead a bit and was basically the bait while the others waited in the shadows for the hunter since they knew he was following them. Ambush tactics, wow !

I just wish that Turtle Rock would release a bit more information in regards to this. It looks so close to being complete. I mean, they even had it to play for the public at Showdown Lan.

I tend not to go for many PC games, I mean the only ones I own are RPG's or Civilisation Type games (my two favourite genre's), though just coz Tekmosis is moderating this forum, I was pulled to it, and hopefully whilst contributing to it (it's me, who else is going to contribute screens to the profile ) I may very well get pulled into buying this game

thats what i thought!still no official release date?just watched 28 days/weeks later and its made me want this game even more!!!whats the hold up

lol, it was the same for me right after watching both of those as well. Right before the game comes out I'm going to rewatch both just to hype things up

No release date, yet though. However, Amazon.com has a release date of Mar 11, 2008. Not sure how accurate or trustworthy on release dates they are. You would think if they're wrong that's false advertising and TR or Valve would have them correct it.

nah i wouldnt trust any release date untill its official from valve,they wont have them change yet,i remember play having RE5 released for march 07 and its still not out,and play had FF12 due for like 4 yrs ago and kept pushing it back.march seems way too far away,hope theres some good games to fill the time,thing is the game looks near enough finished!!!!

Did you see the recent batch of videos that were released onto all the trailer sites? That has to be an indication that *something* is going to happen soon. Although, I think they should hold off a bit because huge games like Crysis, and Orange Box are coming out soon enough and I don't think they'll want to compete with Crysis or against sales from their (Valve's) own product, either. I can see it being an early 2008 release, possibly a demo release in 2007, though.
