Which is better i need to know cos on the ratings it show 1 is better than 2

and can sumone tell me the differences from 1 to 2 if there is any

While I definitely liked EQ1...EQ2 is also a great choice. ive been more pleased with EQ2 than EQ1 also bc you don't have to play for quite as long to accomplish the same things you did in EQ1. so there....eq2.

Yeah, I also vote for EverQuest II as the better.

EverQuest wasn't all that n00b friendly, until they added in the tutorial. When you start the game, you have nothing to lead you in crafting, nothing to help you earn items. In EverQuest II, on the other hand, you get a whole six levels on the Isle of Refuge, where you can do many quests to earn your starting armor. Crafting is a whole lot more enjoyable, and actually has penalties.

EverQuest II is a whole lot more 'quest-based' than EverQuest is. Some may argue, but from what I've seen, EverQuest was mainly about leveling and becoming flagged for higher level zones. You didn't walk around and ask for a group so that you can finish a quest, unless it had to do with getting flagged or raiding a certain mob. Until they implemented the Task system, there wasn't a whole lot of questing going on.

so what about internet connections?
do u have to pay to play with other people on the internet ?
do u have to sign up for anything?
is it just online play if not what is the single player like?

ive got blueyonder broadband, does that effect anything?

I agree about it being far more noob-friendly. it seems like everyone is getting off the ground a lot easier than most other MMORPGs...and you dont see many people running around aimlessly confused either. thats always a great song.

probbaly eq2 because it has better graphics and much more fun

Ok heres the thing:

People say EQ1 because that was THEIR game, we grew up on that game, it's like home when we were kids, I agree that EQ2 is BETTER, but I like EQ1 more because...I dunno it's unexplainable.

EQ1 has the old skool feeling of it, I love it

EQ2 makes questing important, and awesome graphics, i played it all day on my g/f's b-day it was weird...she didn't seem mad lol

For the look obviously EQ2 best looking game out there by far but you need a pretty good computer to play it , On the playability side EQ2 is fairly new and Everquest 1 has like 8 expannsions packs last time i checked and is absolutley huge , 70 man raids tog o kill dragons , you just cantc ompare to it imo

EQ2 is far ahead of EQ1 in case of graphics and fun. there is always something to do like get a new quest or gain a level I am oviously going for EQ2.

The crafting system on EQ2 is amazing. That is another reason why EQ2 has an advantage over EQ1
