Hey their this is SPK. I was just wondering everyones thought abotu the good and bad of the game.


The Good:

- The graphics of this game are much better then last year or any other 2k7 games.

- No glitches! Thank God i haven't seen any glitches.

- Enhanced Season Modes. Not only do you jsut play your team you now get to take care of the business liek ticket pricing. On the main menu of the Season modes it shows daily news on the game letting you know more about what is going on.


The Bad-

- You lost the Showboat move.

- Absolutely nothing else i have found so far. Correct me if im wrong

I did not like the move either but some people will miss it.

This game is so much better then last year.

Last year's game was full of glitches, and overall, the graphics were terrible. (Animations were awkward, player faces were very generic, unforms weren't correct, players wouldn't look at there ball while they hit it, etc.)

This year, I haven't found one glitch at all. All player faces are spot on. It's amazing how much a game could improve in a year.

I sure wish they would of kept the World Baseball Classic, though.

Only problem I have is the AI robs homeruns way too easily. But this can be fixed with the setting sliders of course

I like the payoff pitch a lot. Got Clemens' splitter to 100. Man that was unhittably nice.

Sometimes i find the catcher annoying.... I liek to pitch my self sometimes. I also have had he catcher signal a middle outside fastball to people like roger clemens and a-rod and pujols... I have noticed some players are a little over rated but not as badly as last years.

The Bad:

this is accually the first baseball game i've played in the 2k series (mostly beacuse of a dying thread of hope for the MVP series). but I noticed a lot of sweet features, like the payoff pitch, the indepth season modes, all the players faces.

only a couple of complaints. fielding is awkward but learnable, and controling baserunners.

now my opinion is of course skued because i'm comparing 2k7 to MVP05 instead of 2k6.

good - graphics, player models, animations, commentary, catcher calling pitches, payoff pitches, franchise mode

bad - hitting homeruns and robbing homeruns are too frequent on both the user and computer sides....fielding and baserunning are clumsy and difficult

sean marshall a pitcher for the cubs is a lefty in real life...in the game he is righty

I dont know if any of you checked last years sk6 forum but i had a post abotu under and over rated players.... I havent seen this very much thi syear but som eplayer shave been to good...... I have found Geoff Jenkins hitting homeruns like 1-2 a game and same for chris duncan..... Anybody else see and over under rated then feel free to post that on here

Ok i don't know if this is just because im a good hitter adn pitcher but I rarely ever see the ball hit foul...

I never hit foul balls, but every once in a while the comp will hit some. I guess they didn't want to make the game that realistic and take 3 1/2 hours long so they prefer a strike or a fieldable hit.

I don't know if I'm just terrible at this but I find using the stick to hit is hard to get used to. I really want to pick this game up but the hitting part is the only thing that is keeping me from getting this right now. Any tips?
