i decided to have a go and i set a lap in the high 1:53's!! but that time means nothing as i dont have a camera

after another solid hour of trying to improve my time, a faultless lap brought me a 1:53.679 but since i dont have proof, im not competeing and now im just going to wait to see if anyone can beat that

yea but it doesnt have a camera on it because its a crappy one. i dont bother much with mobile phones tbh

Agreed. Wonder how it would be with some aftermarket parts and some tuning.

Just done a 1.52.1.

Fwiw, I made the most of the chicanes being lenient. It'd be too difficult to tell if someones shitting you though, if you split the comp in two, as someone could be genuinely quicker but get wrongly accused. My first time was a 1.54 without making the most of the chicanes tbf.

Thats pretty much why this car was chosen for this track. It adds a certain amount of difficulty to it.....I was thinking of using an Elise but that might've been too harsh.

Well I don't see why cutting chicanes is wrong. I mean every true racer tries to cut as much as they can from chicanes, even f1 drivers cut as much as they can and only when they've outdone the corner do they get punished, granted that the track makes chicane cutting much easier, there is no reason why one shouldn't cut the chicane when the computer allows you to. It's not really unfair in anyway at all, as everyone can cut the chicane just as much with no negative effects.

I'm all for the challenge, but just thought it would be a better car.

I wouldn't mind sometime to have a very poised car like even a Race version car and see what people can bust out times at. The one benefit of that would be that no one can REALLY cheat cause even if they buy the car in GT mode they can no longer upgrade it past the stock other than different tires, and in arcade we can chose those tires for free. It would also make it more about the driver in my opinion.

Just done a 54.524, should be able to go faster next lap considering I lost alot of time on the first chicane due to insanely early braking and downshifting, wheel lock ups and redlining everywhere. Nasty

Edit: Finally broke into the 53's, I still could get a tenth or two out of it but I think it's still a solid lap and I'll see how long it will hold against other people's times So yeah, 1:53.477 is my time, sorry if the pic is a bit blurry

I should be able to go faster, but it's getting to the point that any mistake I make compromises each lap. I need one perfect lap as I seem to understand how to cut the chicanes but sometimes, mainly the last long bend always messes me up when I think about it too much. I'll give another boot later.
