Heros of Loc Lac (fanfiction)

The city of loc-lac lies in a vast desert, it thrives on hunters and trade, the flowing sands keep the city alive. Constant streams of airships flowing through the city. The staple of this city is it's hunters guild. The guild is full of the hunters, the un-sung heroes of the world, risking their lives daily to keep the lives of common people safe. Some of these heroes rise above others, this story is about four of those heroes. Who became not only a team, but brothers.

It was a cool summers night, or perhaps early fall, it was always hard to remember those times.4 young adventures wondered into an empty city, not knowing this chance encounter would make them into great heroes. This particular tale is about the one called Scion, which translates to "the heir" in the old language. He was the last to enter the city, and was hesitant to approach the other hunters.He could tell by their looks that they outranked him significantly, this was probably the cause for his hesitation, as he stepped closer one decided to approach him and welcome him. He bore a lance and called himself wildfire . Scion greeted him with an awkward smile, not wanting to sound needy, he didn't bother asking for help. Wildfire then introduced the other hunters as Its_my_time24 and RockofKuthian . Scion felt more awkward because closer up, he clearly was way below their ranks, wearing only rathian armor and a bone axe. They waited around for a while, not talking much, but shared a few drinks and a couple plates of strange foods. After a while the other hunters got bored and asked Scion if he was going to pick a quest, he was embarrassed for making them wait, but he quickly chose a Rathlos quest, of course unknown to Scion, Rathlos would prove to be his most troublesome enemy.

A year later....
Scion steps out of the blacksmith dawning his Damascus armor, with his signature one horned helmet instead of the two horned one used by other blade-masters, his fire-wing resting heavy on his back. The others were already waiting outside and ready to slay a barioth. They gave him a skeptical look for choosing to use a GS on a barioth, being one of the slowest weapons against the most evasive monster. Once they all landed they quickly found and charged the beast, still curious about Scion not even unsheathing his blade. Scion simply ran around and avoided the barioth, appearing to not even want to fight. The others figured he wouldn't be of much help anyway since the weapons low speed could not match barioths. after a few minuets Scion stood there, finally drawing his blade, he waited in one spot, frost slowly freezing him, but he didn't seem to care. The others, now paying no attention to him managed to cut the tail, barioth shot forward, right to Scion. The frost broke off his blade as the power of him swinging down onto the monsters head. In one blow the beast had been knocked out cold. Another hit, the tusks were broken. the others watched, surprised at his technique, sheathing his blade, then un-sheathing/charging it. After their reactions set in, the others quickly charged it. Lances stabbing, hammers crushing, blades slicing. The barioth could not move, it was frozen between Scion's blade, and the traps laid for it. Not even the baggi of the frozen plains would interfere, even they watched as the team set upon the lands most evasive creature. Within seconds, the barioth managed to limp away, but not before the team set upon it once more. Never has such blood been spilled as quickly on the tundra.

Next Hunt.

The four load their guns quickly, no time to waste. They step out of the camp, observing everything. The birds are quiet, the animals are hidden away, their prey is near. Guns ready, the team slowly treks their way through the deserted island, listening for the slightest sound, the smallest clue their prey is around. Then they hear it. The ground shakes and splits, they aim their guns. The world eater has arrived. Not a second later shots are fired, piercing rounds, dragon shots, sleeping shots, cluster and crag bombs launched. The beast falls, but only momentarily, and right on top of Its_my_time24 knocking him out cold. The rest of the team hurries to set their bombs while IMT rushes back, just in time to cluster the world eater's face off. The beast is only wounded, and rages out at them. Dragon breath spewing everywhere. Instinctively the four evade and continue their barrage of shots, the great beast almost escapes. but amongst the constant fire, the world has fallen. the world eater is dead.

wow scion i like your writing style. you should keep going with it. i like how you remember our meeting so well.

I meant the time when I introduced you to the other neoseekers (I think that you joined a little later, or just before that).

i haven't decided whether it will be a prologue or first chapter yet, if i can create some form of time elapse after the hunt, then this shall be a prologue, but if i just continue on, it shall be a first chapter

haha well yea, this is the first hunt the heroes have together, its basicaly what defines our team work through out the story
