monster hunter stories: whats your story

Ok so I was just thinking about what happened if every monster hunter player could create their own story line about how they went into the hunting "buisness". So that's what I want u guys to do. Respond to this thread with your story of how u became a hunter. Ill even show mine sometime if I get a few responses.

Well I had been jus wandering around as a wayward traveler. Until one day I heard news that my old house had been attacked by a red flying fire spewing monstrocity. I rushed back to it only to find ruins of a burned down house. No family left, at least not that I knew of. All I knew was that a monster burned down my house and m family disappeared. Since then I've been planning my revenge. Training to take down that fire breathing menace. I WILL AVENGE MY FAMILY!!!!

Lol ok. Time for my story.

I was born in a town where everyone is trained to hunt as soon as we can walk and talk. My mom and dad were the greatest hunter team in our village. I would've joined them when I was old enough to go out on quests (13 years old). One day my parents went on a dangerous quest when I was 10 years old. They were goin to fight the alatereon. They never came back...When I turned 13 I set out from my village looking for places to train. I eventually came to moga village. I stayed there for a while before I heard someone mention the city. That's when I went to the city. I came to the city to gt revenge on the alatereon!

I was born in the Volcano. By the age of 8, i was already training to be a hunter just like my father. His sword was one of the most powerful swords of our village, passed down from generation to generation. Its name? The Dark Claw Demise, created from the dark monster, the Alatreon. Back in my great grandfathers time, the mighty alatreon attacked our village from the sacred land which isnt too far from us. My great grandfather was one of the top hunters of my village, and took on the alatreon toe-to-toe with 3 other companions, my bestfriends' great grandfathers as well. They chased down the beast, and led him back to the sacred land. From there, no one knows what happened. But about a week later, the 4 of them returned with bags full of Dark scales, Horns, Scutes, and blood. With those blood, they asked one of their friends to create weapons for them, to protect the village in case of any other attacks. Thus, 4 weapons were created: The Alatreon Metamorph which has the power to crush anything, The Alatreon Revolution which with one swing of it can cut any monsters tail, The Alatreon Gleam which is said to hold the key between light and dark, and The Dark Claw Demise, which is out right terrible. No other weapons can wield such power. Once our great grandfathers have died, they passed down the weapons on, and on, until eventually it was handed down to my bestfriends and i's fathers. But...one day, there was a terrible scream, and the village elderly's were thinking it was the new Alatreon. They told one of the village females to contact the Guild...but meanwhile, my father and his friends, the ones with the weapons of the old Alatreon have set off to a journey to the sacred land, to confront this dark beast. They returned...but not as my great grandfather did...they came back weak, with no souveniers...and cuts everywhere. Everyone knew they were going to die. They passed down the weapons to me and my bestfriends, and breathed their last. My mom went very insane though...attacked the village, and so the village chief banished her...i had no one. But one day i woke up in the Volcano with this weapon, and a huge Rathalos standing there..by this time, i was 18, and very capable of handling these things, so with one "spirit combo" this beast was dead...and so i made its armor. My hunting journey, just begun.

lool, thanks xD i did that in 10 minutes...my mom just cooked fries and i was hungry so i rushed LOL. i plan on making a fan-fic one time, but i dont wanna abandon it like some people (coouuugh wildfire cough cough)

loool, yeah once i get enough experience so i can tell about how bad i beat the monsters, cause right now i only feel safe soloing lancing, or with evade xD

I never quit it... I started writing the story during school, but I guess I could try and update it... I just need some inspiration and time to think.
