Rathalos farming/ BArioth Tips

hey all,

I just killed Rathalos offline and now I want to farm his armor and the GS Rathalos firesword. I already got the greaves and the GS red wing from killing him twice. I don`t now if it is smart to keep hunting him, or first kill barioth, do the villagers request and capture him in D. Island. you get more capture rewards there, but I never fight barioth before and I don`t now anything about him. So, if I just need to hunt him over and over again, I will do that, but if its better to capture him then I really wanted some tips for barioth.

yea.....imagine nargacouga but white and with way more technique and a more speed and an ice ball he shoots from his mouth that turns into a blizzard...

not really :/ i mean...he IS do-able with a lance ...,but a lance isnt something i would suggest to someone...i would suggest a sns or longsword...

Since ur doing Los slot get peck Sns - peck chopper - Djinn (Los Sns) it does a ton of damage especially vs barioth

Ok, I`ve killed Rathalos 6 times and captured him once in the hunting quest. Now I`ve got full rathalos armor and the rathalos firesword, but I just can`t beat Barioth. He is too fast and he always hit me before I can block/ evade. I am not really good at lance but I can try it. I am oke at the bowgun, maybe that works? I never used traps or barrel bombs and I only broke a wing once.......

If you've killed that many Los than I suggest getting the Wyvern Blade "Fire". It does amazing damage to most monsters. Its a longsword so the SC is definitely a force to be reckoned with. I'm having a little trouble with the barioth myself but the SC on the Wyvern blade seems to do allot of damage to it. Hope this helps
