	Log in to remove this sponsored message I have searched the forum but can't seem to find any threads on this. When I upgrade my SA, do I go for a weapon with higher affinity, less raw power and less slots or to a weapon with higher raw power and more slots? Figuring out stats is not my strongest subject, so would appreciate any input. Or does it really matter which way I go in the long run. Thanks.

	Raw>affinity in terms of upgrades ( for all weapons). Raw is a consistant boost to you dps, while crit is luck dependent and averages to a 2.5% boost for 10 affinity. Especially when using a crit draw skill, always go for raw. Even when you arent, raw is almost ALWAYS better.

	Well it really depends on the weapons themselves as well as what you are going to use it against. How about you give us a few specific weapons and we will tell you what is best for what ------------------- My Theme Song

	I was looking at the bolt axe and rough edge trees when this question came up. I didn't know if the negative affinity changed how the assault axe path compares to the rest of the tree. I use all weapons but my favorites are SNS and SA. I appreciate your feedback. I was leaning towards raw power and slots. Thanks.

	personally, i go for power or slots if i plan on putting something specific into the slots. also, i use the assualt SA. >.> i should also note i make weps i dont use just because they look cool so feel free to ignore Edit: Mar 25, 11

	It also depends on what weapon you want to end with, check the end of the weapon tree and see which one you would rather have. In your case i believe its soulbreaker and bastion blitz, so same raw power but bastion has lower sharpness and negative affinity (and a para phial), soulbreaker has better sharpness and a dragon phial, you pick (idr the slots).

	Oh, I so understand making a weapon or armor for how it looks. lol I think Baston Blitz(already have Assault+) and Thunderstrike(G) are the ones for now. Soulbreaker(p) will wait. I don't have awaken yet. I see some heavy duty industrial farming in my future. Thanks again for help.
