As a moderate to good gunner (now)....I have some 'holes' in my game and want to fill those. In that spirit and intention.

Topic 1: Sleep Bombing ALA

Ok...I know its old hat for some...but I have never done it before...least ways, not gunning. I have used Great Azure and done it...even done it solo...but I would love to try SB'ing with a team.

SO...as i am currently in SB mode for Diablos Stout horn....I am geared to go for Ala IF anybody wants to join me and show me the ropes. Of course, until I run out of scatterfish. I will be on tonite at about 9:00 eastern...NA server. Slayer, 145HR (or there abouts). I will likely be in a Diablos city getting frustrated at the lack of stout horns I am getting. Just message me and identify you are from NEO....and I will warp.

Topic 2: Cluster Bombing ALA

Similar to the above....i.e. never clustered Ala at all and would like to try. I will be using either my Aquamatic Longshot...or the 'favoured' cluster gun (agna combo of some type). Again, I have never Clustered and have tried once before but failed before we started (DC'd).

As above, it would take a bit of time to set up as I haven't clustered (other critters) for a long time....but identify you are from NEO...and I will warp and build.

For both...and for anytime in the future, if you want to do either SB or Cluster....search me out, message me, identify yourself as NEO-ian....and I will warp.

I finally found my way around that ban, which honestly i sort of deserved for my level of stupidity (which let me tell you "is well over 9000"), all I had to do was format my wii , fortunatly I backed up my savefile and re-installed homebrew....and now Im set and ready to go...so? whos up for the hunt?

Hey IMT24...a good chance Saturday is good for me to gun Ala.

Interesting event though related to gunning.

A couple nights ago...once I saw that the Big Jho Event quest was on (aka, World Eater), I put my SB set away and did a run with a group of randoms. We did real well with 3 blades and a gun. The gunner 'said' they would sleep Jho...but in reality, only once did that happen. We did use a pile of traps to inflict massive blade damage quickly (and that is my recommendation to anyone, btw).

SO, when we return...and me being cocky...I say "I'LL SLEEP JHO"...and I get re-set with my sleep gun set. The other higher HR in the group goes and ironically, gets Longshot Cluster set (diametrically opposed to sleep bombing, btw). And off we go. Sure enough, I put Jho to sleep almost immediately...and bombs are set...>BOOM. Then, I sleep Jho again....and before bombs are set....he is woken by blades. I sleep again...this time, clustered by Longshot.

Then...as I am combining off the edge of the screen, i get rocked....the spammed attacked and faint. Ok, rookie mistake...should have left the screen to do that. Come back....sleep him again...no bombing...blades wake him...and I am out of sleep stuff now....so its hard time gunning. AND, I get cornered...spammed and faint # 2. Crap.

Come back.....and Jho has gone 'home' to the jaggia layer.....which is really tight quarters for the big pig and 4 hunters....and all the stupid jaggia body checking if you stand still (like a gunner taking aim). And that is what happened. I am lining up Jho after him finally changing his focus to somebody else instead of me....and I get hip checked by a Jaggia. Jho must have heard my groan as I rolled because immediately he flies over to me...and clamps his dripping jaws on me, rolling me. THEN...immediately tail spins...AND FAINT NUMBER FREAKING 3!!!

Tail between my legs...humbled as we return to camp. In my defense, I did sleep Jho at least 5 times....which is what I said i would do.

So, IMT, still want to SB Ala with me? HAH

OH...met RockofK....something something last night. Brief but 'friended' each other.
