Best way to Destroy Rathalos and Barrioth???

For barrioth I'd recommend sticking with the lance since you're good with it, I'd bring some mega dash juice(dash juice + well done steak) so u can block through his rage modes when he gets super spammy with his attacks, wait out his attacks, they won't give you many openings when he's at full strength but once he gets tired he has plenty of openings, don't be afraid to sit behind your shield and poke him when he's still got energy. For rathalos I can't give much advice since I've only taken him once and barely at that, but bring flash bombs to flash him when he goes into the air, although they seem to have made it so that you have to be way more accurate than in MH Unite. Wind resist with a switch axe will be your best bet against Rathalos. With the amount he hovers around you can deal a lot of damage using the upswing, and not getting knocked around by wind will be a huge help. I used Blitzkrieg (R) the first time i killed him offline.

As for Barioth, I lance him. The first time I used the spiral Lance, because I didn't have anything better, now i use Spiral Heat, but I don't think you can get that yet unless you can play online.

Take traps and bombs with you if you are struggling, don't be afraid to do a bit of overkill, it's always worth it the first time.

On a side note to healing pots, you can always bring honey to combine with the potions... I bring all of those and when I'm done or almost done with the mega pots, I just combined the potion with honey for more mega pots.

For Barioth, break the wings as soon as possible. Traps+Bombs will make for a good strategy to achieve this. Once done, it significantly slows it down and it'll often slip due to loss of gripping capabilities.

I defeated the Barioth.



First, I built full Baggi Armor, and gemmed it for attack, along with my Sharq Lance. Then, I faced off with him. I waited until he tired himself out, and pounded on him, died twice from surprise body slams out of aerial take-off. Finally finished him while he was raging.


Thread can be shut down, I never broke his wings at all.

Rathian armor plus fire resistance plus meal gives you 45 fire resistance. That should tet you up for the los. For barioth, use fire sword and shield, the one made out from los and rathian.
