	Yeah, practice is usually the most important supply you can pack. Keep at it, learn to tell when it's going to do a specific move, learn what to do then, eventually it gets easier. Try different things until you learn which work. When he buries himself, he's the clump of plants with bubbles coming up from them. When he's getting badly hurt, he hides in the cave. Once you can recognise his "I'm about to charge" wiggle, you can dodge roll aside and attack him from behind. If you do gather from him when he's buried, expect to get spiked. It doesn't hurt that much, if you're healed up first.

	Also when your fighting a new monster dont bother getting all potted and geared up .... best thing to do is trial and error like above post said observe what the monster does and what id does after a attack .... and what to look for and knowing what attack he will use ....

	Hello im kinda a pro in monster hunter tri you asking oh no a barroth or a gobul best way is observe like gobul and barroth first time bad i killed a few gobuls and captured with always using a water wep fully upgraded and few times almost fully upgraded i never fished out a gobul if his gonna weak he is going to land but in zone 4 his going to zone 3 immediately just keep attacking and he is going to zone 2 normally any comments (i killed lagiacrus 1 time and 2 times captured my first attempt failed and a few attempts later i had 10 sec left then 1 sec left i threw my tranq bombs and was satified but then another mission to capture it again but i used large bombs large bombs+ and small bombs it toke me half time see ya later

	O yea i almost forgot the best way to capture monsters is shock traps (can be used in water and land) its better to throw tranq bombs to long ago i always used ptifall traps but its a fail kinda somthimes i use it but shcok traps have a glitch to much use is he broke it faster later i'm on online if the internet is on it almost completed all the offline quest just transport ,barriot, and diablos then offline is done

Since your using a hammer, get a forged and/or upgraded to Peco flint (fire) Gun Hammer (Fire) or the volt hammer (don't exactly remember it's name, but it's thunder) and just get a few hits (whether it be the super pound, the twirl move, or just regular hits and immediately evade to the side. Try to go after it's head also as stunning the monster leaves it wide open to unleash heck upon it and give the hunter a clear shot at the lantern (land or water) If only just do as I would call "being overly prepared" meaning bring mega potions, mats to make more mega potions, mats to make regular potions, traps and mats to make more traps (plus the obvious whetstones and cool/hot drinks if needed) I'm not quite sure if sonic/flash bombs would help, but I know that sometimes if you hit it while it's 'camoflauging' itself, you can at times make it pop up and become immobile for a short period of time. If your really having trouble, I'd recommend a weapon that has the ability to block attacks. Whether that being Lance, Sword and Shield, or Greatsword, if you think you don't have the time to evade you can just quickly point your shield at the monster and block for minimal damage. On a last note, if a gobul seems to 'dig under ground' while in the water and it just disappears, look in other areas where you can swim underwater and pay attention to the underwater herbs that you can gather, if bubbles are coming up from one of those herb node things, that's where the gobul is hiding. GL bud sonic bombs don't work very well but flash bombs do

	It is alot easier to fish out gobul as many have said as well 1 tip for u wen gobul goes underwater and then the music ends u will practically never find him unless u paintball him because he falls asleep underwater and doesn't wake for like ten mins so if u paintball him it will highlight the area he's in but not show the pink dot which represents the monster in this case gobul to find him head to the highlighted area and look for sleep bubbles coming from the ground not the bubbles that give u air but sleep bubbles then attack the ground near that area the gobul should come out from his camouflage/underground mode hope this helped

	what i did, it i fished him out, found out where he would land. then restart the quest, and plant many bombs there, when he lands on them, throw something at the bombs, and it does quite a bit of damage.

	Yeah just get a frog from area 2 i think and fish him out from area 4 or 3 i forget wich one. Bring a shock trap and a pitfall trap (shock trap= thunderbug+trap tool and pitfall=net+trap tool) you will also need 3 barrel bomb L and 5 barell bomb S. Heres how you kill it: 1. Fish him out and attack untill he gets back up 2. Put down a pitfall trap with 2 barrel bomb L and when he falls in the trap put a barell bomb S to explode the 2 barrel bomb L (this will weaken the him a lot) 3. Attack him till he limps away to area 8 4. Put down your shock trap and either throw some tranqs to capture him or just attack him till he rolls over and dies. Hope this helped!
