Need help for earplug armors and earplug jewels

You could try and get tigerex armour its got earplug skill and if you add some earplug jewels to it you can have highgrade earplug

So how many tigrex in snowmountains do i have to kill before getting enough materials to make tigrex armor set?

Garuga is unlocked by killing 10 Kut-Ku. You don't need to capture any if you don't want to.

Garuga is a 4* Village Chief mission. That's why you haven't come across it yet.

For where you're at, the only set that gives High Grade Earplug is the Hornet set, and it has horrible Elemental Resistances.

Once you get to the 4* quests, you'll have a choice between the Garuga Set and the Tigrex set. I generally replace the helm of each set with the Garuga Mask, since it's got more points in HearProtect than most helms. Each set, with the proper jewels, gives the following skills:

Garuga
High Grade Earplug
Sharp Sword
Reckless Abandon+1

Tigrex
High Grade Earplug
Quick Eating
Autotracker
Demonic Protection

Those are generally your best sets for getting High Grade Earplug at the 4* level. Of course, this assumes that you're doing the Village Elder quests before going into the Guild.

*whistles* Wow... Alrighty then. Earplug. Not the greatest skill to have but I guess it does help with those roar / charge-pwn-j00 hits.

Before I got my Kirin armor set I had Azure Rath chest, waist, and legs along with Red Rath gloves and the Garuga mask. The mask alone gives you 8+ to earplug which was good enough to pair with my Rath gear (Azure has a few points in earplug by it's self) but it also gives 2 to each resistance (Including Dragon).

In short. Shoot for the Garuga Mask. It can be made with :

Garuga Mask :
Sharpened Beak /2
Garuga Ear /2
Garuga Mane /4
Firestone /1

Note : I strongly recommend using earther the Blango or Dynamo Bow (he's resistant to both fire and thunder) when first fighting him. He hardly even touched me the first time when I used the Dynamo. (Dynamo works wonders on him since he's got that big wingspan and head-to-tail build going. Charge it up to Pierce and BOOM! (If you shoot him enough in the face you'll have a higher chance of getting the Sharpened Beak, Mane, and Ear so...yeah. Shoot him in the face. Alot.

Anyway how many hear protection(+) do i have to get for a normal earplug skill and for high grade ear plug skill?
