Gardens? ? |
|
Does anyone know the perfect time to plant: strawberries, tomatoes, eggplants, pepper, etc. . .? Because every time i plant them they always get too much water (from rain in spring) or i plant them to late and they freeze (from coldness in winter)

If you build a greenhouse then I don't think you have to worry about this, greenhouses are quite expensive however.
According to a guide on Sim Media: The following plants are best planted in Spring: Peppers, Strawberries, Eggplants. The following plants are bets planted in Summer: Tomatoes, Pole Beans, Cucumbers. The following plants are best harvested in Summer: Peppers, Strawberries, Eggplants The following plants are best harvested in Autumn: Tomatoes, Pole Beans, Cucumbers. Basically everything is harvested best in the month after it is planted. I'm not sure if these are official values or if these were worked out by trial and error. I also can't confirm how accurate these are, there are a few stats on the site which I'm not 100% sure are correct. overall it's a very useful site though, I've added it to my favourites. Hope this helps. ------------------- 2008 Awards:

I thought that any of the plants would grow good in the autumn season, but I guess I was wrong. Can you type
up the correct seasons for harvesting tress? ------------------- "Life is getting shorter and shorter by the days so live your life proudly and be rightcheous to GOD" | |
