Party that i used to beat the game:

Luso: Paladin/Parivir
Viera: Summoner/Red Mage
Gria: Hunter/Ravager
Bangaa: Trickster/Gladiator
Hurdy: Juggler/Bard
Nu Mou: Black Mage/Sage

Luso is my tanker, hes in the front line using elemental slashes. My viera is a double caster summoner, full on attacking. my gria and bangaa is a long ranger ultima attack. Hurdy is my party's supporter. he usually supply MP and spamming quicken. thats all that he does. my nu-mou is a normal magic caster. nothing special like the others really. thats why i wanna change him.

Im currently working on 2 other ppl to replace my Nu Mou and for reserve:
Adelle: Heritor/Seer
Frimelda: Illusionist/Seer

viera:spellblade/assassin
Hume:paladin/blue mage
bangaa:gladiator/dragoon
Nu Mou:sage/black mage

Luso: Parivir/Fighter
Viera: Elementalist/Summoner/Red Mage/Spellblade
Bangaa: Cannoneer/Trickster/White Monk
Nu Mou: Sage/White Mage
Moogle: Moogle Knight/Fusilier/Juggler

I also use these two, but switch between them regularily.

Seeq: Lanista/Viking
Gria: Ravager/Raptor

As a final note, I had a Hume Illusionist/Seer for most of the game, but ditched him eventually because he was balls.

Vierra - Summoner / Red Mage
Bangaa - Master Monk / White Monk
Bangaa - Gladiator / Dragoon
Gria - Hunter / Ravager
Nu Mou - Alchemist / Black Mage

I'm really diggin' this party so far. I'm not sure if I should replace my gladiator/dragoon with adelle (heritor/parivir) or a hume paladin/fighter with double sword (I've heard somewhere you can get Frimelda?). He's pretty darn good but I feel like 1 hard-hitting bangaa is enough >.>

why no bangaa? Gria outclass them in equiment and damage and mobility
why no seeq? i so not like fat things and there is no such thing as a magical seeq(thundaga form viking -_-). they can't deal consistant massive damage
