MVP

So what happens when a character becomes a MVP?

re: MVP

Dispatch missions are more likely to succeed.

I was wondering what justifies an MVP award, attacking the most times?

re: MVP

I'd say something along the lines of 'Damage done' or 'Attacking the most' or something like that. My Gunner always gets MVP, but he almost never KOes anyone, so I doubt its most enemies KOed.

re: MVP

Nah, can't be that, since I had my Blue Mage do Roar every turn for a whole battle and still get MVP.

I think it's number of actions used that helped the most. Since Roar got rid of so many Buffs, my Blue Mage helped a great deal with winning.

Either that, or number of targets successfully hit.

re: MVP

Most Valuable Player

That's what it means
From what I've heard, for every MVP that character gets, they get more likely to return successful from dispatch missions, and you get a piece of the MVP trophy in their stats, but I don't know what happens when you get the full trophy. Working on that myself.

I'd have to agree with Jon, one of those two. It'd make sense at least.

re: MVP

I always thought it was the most enemies killed. Guess not. I think it might be the most actions performed by a unit, excluding waiting.

Then explain how my white mage gets MVP more than all of my other characters combined? She never attacks, just heals and heals.

It basicallly goes to whichever unit was most helpful in the battle.

re: MVP

All I know is that my hunter has a full MVP trophy and nothing has changed. I really don't see the point of everyone saying stuff that has already been proven wrong (most enemies KO'd, Most dmg given) but I will tell ya what I think. Since it probably has nothing to do with damage my guess would be something along the lines of most useful actions. My hunter disabled and pretty much owned the other team and got a full trophy before anyone else ever got MVP. But that is just a guess.

re: MVP

My ranged phisical units seem to get MVP a lot. My melee units NEVER get it.

Also, an interesting obvervation, When i go back to do low level missions i missed, i only use 2 units. A cannoneer and a turbo MP illusionist. Pretty much he gives the illusionist mana and the illusionist wipes out the entire enemy team in one of two spells. Ive used this combo over 30 times and NEVER once has either of them gotten MVP.

discuss
