Monsters We Hate Thread - Page 2

One on one, they're no problem. It's when they appear in groups, or even alongside other monsters like you said, that I find myself at their mercy. I don't think I've ever been forced to flee as often as I have in this grotto I'm currently exploring, and it's almost entirely due to fighting the Moai.

Slightly off topic but, they aren't thwack-proof, are they?

I really hate Uncommon Colds. Theye always atack first and wipe out my party with freezing breath.

Demonstration:

An Umcommon Cold draws near!
Umcommon cold uses fffreeezzzzing breath.
The party takes a total of 506 damage!
Party attacks Uncommon Cold takes 359 damage in total blah blah blah
Uncommon Cold uses fffreeezzzzing breath.

Get the Armamentalist scroll and use Frost Force on the group. Or you can get a Paladin, cast Mirror Shield then use Forbearance. I hope this helps.

do around 500 dmg ans then start with the hot licks and let your priest do the healing, for me it wasn't a problem

bur i hate ALL those monsters wich coming running after you and STILL they know they WILL be slaughtered by you. -.-' stupid no-brained-monsters...

I just found a way to use those ugly freaks of nature for a good use. So if you got in fight with one and a MKS you could kill the MKS then most of the time the Helga brings them back to life then you just repeat killing the MKS over and over as long as possible. I had a battle like this and kill the same MKS three times and got exp for each time it died so helgas are somewhat helpful.

I was probably imaging it from playing the game all night which I do often but I will do a triple check on it just to make sure.
