Orichalcum

So yeah Im looking for this to use with 9 glass frits and the rusty sword. Anybody know where it is?

Correction: Legacy Bosses' mini medal drop rate is 100%, not "pretty high" . Just keep killing Baramos, haha. Once you can kill him in 2 or 3 turns when he's at level 1, you'll be getting a mini medal every 2-3 minutes.

Yeppers. But I don't think it's worth it to steal from Legacy Bosses and waste turns, haha. Stealing is so unpredictable in this game. And any of those turns you waste trying to steal unsuccessfully, the Legacy Bosses can waste your party lol.

But yeah, if you do steal from them, you can end up with 2 Mini Medals per win.

Better yet, equip the Thief scroll. So far I haven't had it activate on a Legacy Boss' mini medal yet, but it's activated a bunch of times on their equipment drop and orbs.

No, but they DO drop Orichalcum at a 0.39% rate (I've found two so far). In addition, you could happen into a Slime Crown (0.78%), but that's not nearly as cool.

Pretty much as above stated the mini medal strategy is what worked best for me. There are pretty common at least for me, in grottoes as well as legacy boss battles. They rack up quick and then you can get your orichalcum.

Does anyone know the root meaning of orichalcum? I wikipedia-ed it and it was kinda interesting.

There are several in areas you can't access until post-game, with the Starflight
At the lonely coast in the cave there is a red chest w/ an orichalcum
At the hill to the left of the flurry feather tree at mt ulbaruun the is two wells, one has a red chest with orchalcum

Also greynarl (as a grotto boss) gives orichalcum as a rare drop.
Metal King Slimes (EXTREMELY RARE) give orichalcum (alebeit as a less than 1% chance).
Also, Cap'n Max Meddlin gives orichalcum for 15 mini medals (in the shop after you give him 80 mm's).

The Bad Cave has blue chests in it that whenever I open always have mini medals in... go back there every respawn and your mini medals start to go up pretty quickly.

Just make a note of where blue chests are that give mini medals, I also think there's a lot in whatchamacallit, the ruin place near Stornway... then whenever you go onto the game just quickly Zoom around and grab 'em and you get loads really quickly.

I don't know whether that works for everybody though, it's just that every time I go looking in the Bad Cave's blue chests, there seems to be mini medals
