	Your levels seem a bit low and I would recommend a Priest, I'm not sure you have enough healing there.

	This guy is pissing me off to no end. I have Chris-Minstrel-Level 56 Ramira-Warrior-Level 40 Nikita-Mage-Level 40 Tortin-Martial Artist-Level 40 I can get to the point where King Godwyn Spoiler: Godwyn Transforms After that it doesn't matter how much damage i deal he just WON'T bleepING DIE. On my last attempt, which ended in defeat resulting in me chucking my DS Lite accross the room, i dealt over 2000 damage to him. Got a couple of blocks, couple of critical hits but nothing. Used Gigaslash about 5 times dealing 250+ damage each, then my teams' attack on top, resulting in at least 2000 damage. I know everyone says to have a preist on your team but i really can't be assed to train a preist up to level 40, which is the level all 3 of my followers are at. I dunno exactly how much Health this idiot has... But my team is- Lucas-lvl 39 theif Erica-lvl 36 priest Kaylin-lvl 36 Mage Melissa-lvl 38 Warrior I manage to deal a good 3500. I managed to get my thief's claws and shield maxed out. I've almost maxed my priests spear and my warriors sword. I make my Mage oomph everyone so they attack for a good 175-200 each. Whenever someone is dying my warrior uses whipping boy while my priest heals them. This still doesn't work... At some point the thing manages to crit my priest twice every time! I'm workin on selling gold mails to get my priest a better set of armor

	Also (sorry for the double post) the dragon warrior armor isn't the best armor out there. I would recommend spike armor or mirror armor (they sometimes return attacks)

	For one, a proper healer is a necessity for almost any JRPG team, especially Dragon Quest. So don't try to worm your way out of one, put one in. After that, work on maxing out Virtue in your characters (Vocation change to Paladin and get to Lv.38 to get enough skill points to do so). If you're at King Godwyn, you should be able to grind against LMSs in the Bowhole B3 for a bit- it shouldn't take you very long to get to Lv.38. etc., etc. ------------------- I am always right.

	somehow beat him on both counts, my team is Minstrel lvl34 Warrior lvl34 Mage lvl33 Priest lvl33 not easy and mp gets low near the end but some earlier fights were harder. I didn't even do the vocation point trick. My advice is that boosting agility is a must, it seems pointless but it saved me. I use both first and last member for healing. Mage and warrior on offence so that when he boosts his defences then one of them can get through. Also a tactic I use is "oomph" from mage and "egg on" from minstrel on warrior, then my warrior uses "falcon strike" or something like that. you get a boosted offence x2. Hope this helps and proves that level isn't everything

Even though mine was only 32, she did her job well enough with Heal, Midheal, MoreHeal and Zing. I defeated the King on my second attempt. My team was: Nick~Martial Artist:37 Bas~Minstrel:35 Jacky~Priest:32 Luc~Ranger:41 And you're not going to tell me that's a better team than yours.

	The Mage and Minstrel may learn healing spells, but they are lower-level and aren't all that effective in the long run. You seriously need a Priest for dedicated healing, for convincing, look no further than the fact that the Priest learns Multiheal at level 38, which is ESSENTIAL if you want any chance of surviving future boss battles. You also may want to consider a little level-grinding. I think my team was hanging around level forty when I beat him. ------------------- The Seattle Sounders for the play-offs and another US Open Cup!
