Alright so how did that quest guide get put in the wrong spot?

I see, I've learned (finally) from the forum how to do what I was asking thx I won't TRY to mess up any more lol.

Ok! I always thought wikis were confusing, but I've gotten the hang of it lol.

I've been uploading a lot of images and creating new pages recently, but I'm going to take a break from that and start fleshing out the short pages that already exist.

Also, a quick question; Could anyone tell/show me how to create a really neat table in the wiki that also includes small images within the cells? That'd be great for a few of the more database-type pages (ie, Monster list, Recipe list).

In the interest of keeping the Wiki pages consistent, I have a few simple requests for any contributors. I'm not insisting everybody do it 'my way', but it would really help keep the Wiki neat and concise.

Firstly, if within the contents of a single page a topic which has its own page is mentioned several times, only the first instance should contain the actual internal link. There's no need to litter a page with numerous links to the same internal page. It's cleaner just to link it once.

Recently I found two pages linking to the same subject. One was misspelled, the other was not, but both contained a fair bit of information and images, etc. It didn't take me long to merge the contents of the two pages into a single, more accurate and lengthy page and provide a redirect from the misspelled version, but this sort of mix-up can be avoided by doing a simple search for existing pages or just double-checking the spelling of your topic before creating the page.

It's also a good idea to try to avoid writing in first person perspective and/or addressing the reader (ie. use of 'you', 'your', and so on).

Lastly, it's not really necessary to create place-holder pages. It's best to only create a page when you have something to put in it (even if it's just an image, or a reasonably short summary). Try to collect a bit of data regarding a topic before you create its page. This just helps us more easily differentiate between actual short pages and wanted pages as they appear in the list.

That's all, really. I am, of course, more than happy to fix these things up myself if you guys don't want to worry about it, but the less time I spend editing, the more time I can spend adding actual content.
