Chance of finding that is pretty slim sadly. If you want a race not widely used, pick a dwarf female, I am serious on this. I hardly ever see any around!

You should pick a class and race that you enjoy playing.

Granted it might not be too difficult anymore with the cross server LFG function, but they are a bitch to level. Even my shadow priest gave me trouble when I first started out, but that was over 2 years ago.

Hunters are easy mode in my opinion.

I leveled a priest, it is as bad as people say.

Warriors are pretty easy, I have an alt warrior on another server with David, and it was pretty easy to level her. David played a warrior from day one and he never had issues playing it.

I guess it just depends on what people are comfortable with. I've always been a caster, so I find any ranged class to be simple. Not saying melee is hard though, since DK is a faceroll and Rogue/Feral Druid have it fairly easy as well.

Maybe Warriors got easier, because I wanted to kill myself leveling one. I still say they're the hardest ones though.

Well if you want a challenge then you probably don't want to go for Paladin, my character was pretty easy to level.

They changed the downtime thing at lower levels, so mana regens alot quicker.

However it ends at like level 20, as far as i know..

And for a shaman, Thats true if you level enhance, atleast until cataclysm, otherwise you can go elemental to level 40 ish, then go enhance and literally demolish and mob in a matter of seconds with dual wield.

Id say for a challenging class to level, try a Warrior. or a Rogue perhaps.

just read the info provided at the character creation screen and pick whatever sounds fun to you. and fwiw, dwarf females are ugly as sin which is typically why people don't pick them.

iirt leveling a priest, the toughest part is getting to 15. from there on out it's easy street. unless you feel like questing ofc..

personally i had a lot of fun leveling my paladin and never found myself bored. but then again everything was new to me then and there was so much to do and experience.
