Hey guys,

I'm running a Dwarf Hunter atm. I was wonder what is the best profession combo to learn and train to eventually make the most gold out of easily? Also, if there's any specific professions that will benefit my race/class, that would help as well.

i remember with my pally..(I miss wow) i think i did mining and blacksmithing...but if u happen to have burning crusade i would go with jewel crafting and then blacksmithing...that would be my pick since i would imagine it wouldnt be that expensive to stock up on the mining pieces....

Any of the three gathering skills is protfitable. I recommend mining and herbalism because you can get ores and herbs plus a ton more goodies to sell such as motes.

I wouldn't recommend two gathering skills like herblore and mining because they both have tracking modes and it would be annoying. I'd take mining for sure, tons of gold even in copper. After that you can go with skinning or maybe enchanting. Not necessarily to enchant stuff, but to disenchant higher level greens and sell the stuff you get.

I guess that's true but I always track mining since the nodes are out of the way.

I recommend herbalism and alchemy.

Mining and skinning, hands down. It's essentially free cash. If you go mining and herbalism, you'll have a hard time training them as you have 2 tracking skills, but you can only use one at a time. If you have any, ANY manufacturing professions, such as alchemy or leatherworking etc. you'll actually lose money, as you use up valuable materials to make things that don't sell for as much as the materials you used to make them.

Enchanting is excellent money later on. If you pick it up early, it's a MONEY PARASITE. You heard me right, it'll suck the cash out of you, leaving you with the weakest gear, begging in the streets of orgrimmar. Never, NEVER take enchanting early on.

Enchanting really isn't as profitable as it was back in the day. The only profit I can see from it is by selling enchanting mats.
