Ok, idk HOW they got my e-mail address or HOW they know I play wow, but I've been getting e-mails asking me to buy gold... Anyone else having this problem?

I generally get messages in game, on occasion of course, about selling me gold.

Have you used your email (visibly) on any forums or websites that involve World of Warcraft? Some people have bots that'll scan for addresses to spam.

Some people do go through profiles as Dx stated to get addresses.

For example, they probably are stalking us right now.

i got the same problem, i have them all go to my junk mail now, i get roughly 10+ gold sellers a week emailing me

But in game im getting PMed an awful lot again with gold selling bots, it stopped for a while but its started again and its annoying.

Yeah it's been getting worse again. I guess they found something that's not setting off the Blizz alarms. Give them time, I'm sure it'll be stopped eventually.

What garbage though....I hate gold sellers

They have now taken to sending me letters via in game post. I got one last night that made me laugh. I had to save the letter, the English was atrocious. I should "copy" it here later.

Its Annoying When they do it in main towns as its just mass spam

Good God, "hack" tools that scan websites! These infernal things must be-

Oh wait, all the major search engines use that "hack," they just index the entire page rather than just the email addresses.

The majority of your email addresses are in plain sight in your profiles, and you're posting in the WoW forum; I think anyone can figure it out without hack tools.
