Ok another question what spec would be good fir lvling Beast or marksmanship?

In the long run race doesn't matter but in my opinion blood elf is also a good choice as hunter as they get a boost with total mana, which helps.

Honestly it matter very little, I went troll although they don't get the 5% pet damage boost which at high levels is really not worth much. Just go with whatever you find more visually apealing to you.

Hunter Race - Orc.

Spec - Beast Mastery.

Why? - Command (5% Damage more done by Pet)

Hunter Race - Troll.

Spec - Marksmanship

Why? - Bow Specialization (1% more crit with Bows)
Berzerking (Increased Attack speed, 10% at full health, increasing to 30% when you take more damage)
Beast Slaying (More damage against Beasts)

You might be right for 70s, but it doesn't matter about the bow spec when you're levelling. Beast Mastery will always be more helpful, regardless of racials.

Nope, BM is the best raid spec too, Marksmanship is gimp.

You all are forgetting Blood Fury.. Best PvE DPS racial in the game. Orc wins.

I really find that hard to believe. Fair enough I'm only a 55, I wouldn't know, but with talents so suited to increasing attack power, a party buff, reduced cooldowns and improved stings, I wouldn't think having a large red tiger would compete.

I've heard someone say Survival can be the best raid spec, which makes no sense to me whatsoever.

This would be my first attempt at a raid spec.

The way Blizzard does this gmae racials are bound to change at some point anyways.

I can understand survival being best for raids as other classes out-dps Hunters so Survival is great for traps, better pulling(as hunters are your best choice for a puller in an instance/raid) and a few other things.

Mages are definately my first choice for CC, and as you said, hunters need all the dps they can get. There's no point speccing for dodge/parry when you shouldn't be taking hits at all.
