Is this game really worth buying even if I own Burnout Revenge? For those who own almost all the Burnout series games, is the gameplay in this game repeditive, or actually a whole new gaming experience?

It's my question too ital_luck13. I have the other Burnout games and after reading the review it sounds like it's just more of the same (without the crash mode). The only difference being new tracks. Unless anyone else who has the game can tell us otherwise, I might leave this one alone....

I rented burnout revenge when it came out. I probably rent this one aswell, it looks quite good. I never liked crash mode anyway but its a shame that traffic attack has gone.

I haven't played it but compared to Revenge (which I have on Xbox), Dominator seems to be more like Burnout 3 based on features and gameplay. I'd consider renting it first, I won't be getting it until the price gets down to $20.

I'd compare it to an earlier game than 3. At least 3 had crash mode in it, just not the traffic checking (and was a hell of a lot harder than Revenge)

I would suggest waiting until it's down to $20. I don't think it's as good as the last two.

I bought it and I have to say this game was a bit of a disappointment. Not as fun as Revenge or those earlier games, mostly because they have taken out most of the fun features. BUT I'm going to play it anyway.

Don't buy it. The absence of traffic checking and crash mode makes this game suck woefully.

Thanx for all the advice. I was about to spend my money on this game, but now I know its not worth it since traffic checking is out, and without it, the game would just be to frustrating for me.

yes this game is worth buying i own it and its got all new cars and burnout chaining is back it also has an all new maniac mode where you drive dangerously to earn points and the lyrics in this game are good too most of avril lavinges new songs are on this game from her new cd "the best damn thing". the game offers new hi resolution graphics so you will feel like your in the game. post or send me a message im on yahoo and need friends if your interested my email adress is nintendoboy1234@yahoo.com

well i bought it and am regretting it now because you can't even do traffic checking anymore but i'm getting used to it so it's not really that bad but i wouldn't buy it if you like traffic checking
