If they were to add Trophy support to the game, would you play the game again? Personally, I'd rather not go through the countless hours and addiction I went through initially, but I most likely will be going through it again if they bring out Trophy support, and this being a first party title, I'd expect them to.

I guess it depends on how good the trophies are......if they are addicting then yeah, most likely. I don't want to though, and prefer that they make it so if you already have the achievements you immediately unlock the trophies since we've all waited so long for this feature to come out.

Unfortuantely it's been confirmed already that the trophies will not be retrospective, meaning you will need to play the games again to unlock them

Sigh. Well, I'd have to see how difficult it would be to get some of them. I imagine the majority of them would deal with getting Trophy X for getting X amount of folk. But what else could possibly be included? All else I could think of would deal with collecting cloaks/costumes or completing quests.

Hmm. Or maybe the Dungeon Trial thingie would be integrated? idk, so I guess there could be a decent amount of trophies to acquire.

Well the problem with that is what happens if someone simply downlaods a game save without doing any achievements? It's easier for them to make us re-do it than bring in any extra check I guess.

I'm thinking it'll be "Get All Folk In Realm X" (one trophy for each realm - Bronze Trophy) then a "Get All Folk" (Silver Maybe), Complete all Sidequests (Silver), etc...

Eh, I don't think I will be playing it again just for the trophies. Now, I haven't played all of the add-on's just yet so perhaps I will pick up a few playing those.....that is if we're lucky and they add trophies to Folklore.

I don't think the trophies will have anything to do with Add-ons actually, so you wont actually have to buy them, just play the main game... though I wouldn't mind if in the process they added more costumes and the likes...

I don't know - I think it's cheap to make you replay than having the achievements be retroactive.

I think the only way they can have it retroactive is if the Game Save is somehow PSN ID locked, which I don't think it is with Folklore. But if it were, then it'd be fine, since I'd have unlocked almost all of the Trophies.

From the discussion in the Gen PS3 forum it seems that MGS4 and Burnout both have some sort of System/PSNID checks, and will be retroactive, but as far as I know Folklore will allow you to use any save as long as the regions are the same.
