OK this is a few parts:

ABOUT GETTING SEEN, GETTING OUT OF LINE OF SITE, AND HIDING

Why can't you kill anyone durring a level outside of an assassintion order?

Once you are seen it's impossible to get away.
I have had to reset the game so many times because I cannot get away and i always get killed.

now any time I get seen i just reset the game I don't even bother trying to get away from an impossible situation


SPRINTING:
SPRINTING IS USELESS because while Sprinting at top speed somehow the guards are so much faster than you, and you have ZERO time to try to get away. when you try to climb up any wall (LOW or HIGH) The guards are already on you and hit yo with thier sword and knock you off and by the time you get up you have been hit senseless a few more times and then you die. Ladders are the same exact way and the same thing happens.

GETTING OUT OF THE LINE OF SITE:
It's virtually impossible to get out of line of site to hide. Even when I managed to get out of line of site they found me almost imediately and i had to take off again and then I died.

BLENDING:
You cannot blend unless you can get out of line of site and since the guards don't even give you enough time to get out of line of site on the ground it's impossible to blend.

So far I have yet to be able to enjoy this game due to not being able to play the game without having to constantly reset it.

VIEW POINT AND FLAGS
What's the big deal with these things and why do people constantly talk about them as if they had some significance to the game?

What exactly is a view point and a flag and what are these supposed to be doing for you?
How do you know what a view point or flag even is and how do you know where they are, what they look like, or supposed to be doing with them.

This aspect has never ever been discussed by anyone anywhere on any forum, people only ask where they are.

Odd you make it sound as if it is so hard, i dont even lose one synch getting away from guards, if you cant get away from them just fight them, oncei was bored and i decided to just kill people and i ended up killing 38 guards with 3 sync to spare, its really not that hard to get away from them as well, just turn a corner or tackle people onto the ground that slows em down, or everytime you see one of those wood structures, attack it which causes it to collapse and slow the guards, however i find the simplest way is to just climb ontop of a building and then there gone.

The point about viewpoints is to uncover the map and to find investigation in which you need to do to unlock the assassination memory and assassinate someone and continue on with the game

and with the flags you dont have to find them, there just there for you to unlock extra ingame things.

Hard? Thats an understatement. This game is fricking impossible.

How are you accomplishing getting away when the guards are way too fast? There is no way you can turn a corner to get out of site it's just impossible I know this because i already tried that. Every time you somehow manage to turn a corner, as soon as you do, a guard is almost on top of you making it impossible to do anything.

Fight them!! What..Are you kidding me?
I have tried that and it cannnot be done
In order to successfully fight guards you have to be able to fight off more than one and that's just not possible. If you fight with multiple guards you are dead PERIOD.
Here is what happens when fighting multiple guards every time
While fighting one, another guard that's off to the side WILL HIT YOU, and you get stuned. By the time you are able to regain your stance, you have been hit and stunned again from the other side, and this repeats itself until you are dead. This situation happens every single time you fight more than one guard, so fighting is impossible!

Theer is a difference between not being able to play a game and a game setting it up so it can't be played.

I have tried getting away same as anyone else who plays this, I sprint, I climb, etc..etc.. I cannot generate the time I need to blend/hide, or whatever. I already tried.
There is no where you can go withouot having a guard right on top of you. They are just way too fast, and because of that, they always see where you go, hit you off a wall when climbing, sucker shot you, or what ever.

I have given up on this obnoxious unplayable game!

OMG I really impressed, I can't understad how you can say that this game is HARD !!!
You know that holding the right click you can block attacks?? I fight with 20-35 guards at the same time and it's not that hard, I mean, you have skills, weapons, and you can block their attacks, so LEARN HOW TO PLAY THE GAME PLEASE.

Don't take ofence but i can't understand how it can be THAT difficult

Yeah I do know that but blocking obviously has no use and cannot be done when you are being attacked by 2 or more guards because you cannot block multiple attackers attacking simultaniously which is what always happens and when you get struck you get stunned, while you are stunned that gives the next guard the time he needs to strike you right as you are regaining your composure but you get struck just as you are coming out and you are now stunned again and the procedure starts all over again. So basically you get hit stunned, hit stunned, hit stunned, hit stunned. All teh while you are helpless and cannot block

Not in this game you don't..That's impossible you can't even fight 2 and you want me to believe you are doing it with between 20-35 at the same time

well then i guess some people find the game easy and others find it challenging, or there copies are *bleep*ed up, still either way the games really easy for me.

i can fight up to about 6-7 guards without getting hit once... seriously its not hard at all... just counter and you never get hurt.. and yes when holding right click almost impossible to take damage

Yeah i just noticed your PM to me, seriously, it's annoying when you randomly PM people with personal problems nobody is interested in, don't bother others with the fact you suck at a game that a four year old child can complete in less than ten hours.

but just so nobody else bothers annoying me with *bleep*ed PMs, I'll post here what i posted in a reply PM to you.

I've no trouble getting away from guards, so that's bull, have you ever considered that you just need a bit more practice? kill the ones that pursue you in the immediate surrounding, run away, tackle some people to slow down the guards, check your radar for blue dots than run to them, hay carts are the best, if you have trouble run up to the rooftops and jump of a ledge with pigeons on it, it's a leap of faith, and you don't have to be unnoticed by guards to use it, and just wait for the guards to leave before you exit the cart you fall into.

you can kill anyone you want to, though i don't see why you'd want to, it's a stealth game, not a run n' gun game, try using your hidden blade more than your sword, everyone will notice a sword, and don't walk around in high profile with your sword unsheathed, that always gets the attention of the guards.

and seriously, just practice fighting, it doesn't take a genius to figure it out, i can take out the entire pursuing group of guards after a major assassination without getting hit even once.

as for not being able to fight more than two guards at once, are you some kind of paranoia freak that thinks the entire world is out to get you? even if one of these people lies, not everyone can be a liar, has it ever honestly crossed your mind that you might just simply suck at this game? or is it that hard to admit you do that you are willing to call everyone else a liar? because you should know that the odd one out is usually the liar.

Impossible to beat more than two guards at once? try easy as hell, have you ever considered that the sword fighting might be a bit more realistic in this game than in God of war? button mashing until everyone is dead isn't really possible, try flicking the left controller stick around while fighting, that will change your lock on to different soldiers, don't just stand there pounding on the same guy over and over, hit one guard once, than aim at another one and hit him, repeat with the third, than move back to the first and hit him twice, if the other two haven't moved in on you yet, hit again and the first guy should be down, repeat with the other two, it's the same strategy no matter how many guards are going at you.

start up the game, try fighting four guards at once, if you cannot beat them, shut it down, break the game disc, and never come back to these forums, we may be able to help, but we're not miracle workers, some people just suck at some games.

Okay, guards CAN damage you while blocking, but they have to be at the side/rear and it doesn't always happen, it CAN be prevented somewhat by letting go of block and quickly holding it again, though you need to get the timing right.
Running away? Firstly, guards can not run quicker than you, (not ones I've seen at least), and getting onto a building is an easy way of outrunning them, as they can't take shortcuts across gaps, (in other words: jumping across), I spend more like 75% of the time off the ground.
Leaps of faith, (especially from view points) are a sure-fire way of making the guards lose you, as you always land in a haystack, a hiding place. Anyway, there is an achievement on the Xbox 360 of staying alive for 10 minutes while being pursued, which is reasonably easy.
I would also like to add, you don't get counter or tackle until a certain way into the game, so you can't use them at first, but you DO get combo-kills at the beginning, which are almost guaranteed kills, though you need to be spot-on with you're timing.

Um, this is the PC version of the game, so he can't be a new Xbox owner. (He actually can be but it will have no relevance to this at all).
Thr tutorial is fairly self-explainitory as well, it does a good job of teaching you the game. I picked it up from the tutorial alone, this isn't really anything in the manual the tutorial doesn't tell you.
