I would reccommend using hammer on's and pull of's. If you don't already, that is.

I do use HO/PO. But I can't time to press it at the right time.

I agree, I just passed it on my first try (just got the game) without any trouble at all. Practice is all I can suggest.

the best advice all of us can offer is practice and perseverance.

and as for the 3rd tier songs, Tatoo Covered Love Boys (or whatever queerish name they gave it) is probably one of the hardest. the encore, War Pigs, is the second longest song in the game.

Monkey Wrench is the easiest, imo. but its my brag song too, so it might just be me.

i suggest playing other songs on hard untill you get used to the speed and amount of notes.
