Favourite/Least Favourite Playable Ally?

Theres not a single character in Oni 2 that I even remotely dislike.

Magoichi was close to it though when I played Issen mode a while ago. I was fearing for my life every second I played as him, and it doesnt help that his sidequest it A. the most frequent and almost always doubles up for me in addition to someone else's, and B. hes got by far the hardest section of the game.

Honestly, any benefit he gives you is completely negated by how hard his quest is.

Also, his flamethrower is pretty useless. It is indeed powerful but lordy, its slow and has no range.

Even in regular modes he can be dodgy at times with his moveset. Fighting ranged constantly gets old quick

Favorite would have to be either Oyu or Kotaro. You cant not love Kotaro's agility and inviso. His controls are really fine tuned and hes a lot of fun just moving around with, plus his attacks are really strong.
Oyu ties him though. Once she gets all er upgrades she can seriously wreck any kind of monster as well as Jubei can, and she doesnt even have elemental attacks.
Her issen is SO effective. And she can use her lunging attack in such quick succession that you can knock down any lighter monsters until they die, or do a finisher on the ground. And the glowing sword special + charging! Its so awesome!

My favorite would have to be kotaro, mainly for the weapon speed and streangth.
p.s. I had no problem taking down the bull genma, just run around him killing his allies and then circle around him while swinging.
