	in your opinion, what Pokemon can you not afford to lose out of your team? as far as I'm concerned, Raichu and Gengar are the two that will always make it into my team. Gengar being a Ghost/Poison means it's only major weakness is ground, meaning most Normal moves can't hit it and elemental moves don't affect it as much. correct me if I'm wrong but Psychic moves also deal normal damage as opposed to "super effective"? the same applies to Raichu, its major weakness is Ground moves (and there aren't many of those)- but if you also take the time out to evolve it after Pikachu learns Thunder, it is pretty much one of the fastest Pokemon in the game.

	Gengar is weak against Psychic. Psychic does normal damage to Ghost, but is super-effective against Poison. Note that Gengar is also weak against Ghost, but in this game there aren't many Ghost attacks. As for a team, almost all of my RBY teams had Charizard in them. 	oh that's a point. but usually I wipe out most psychic Pokemon with Toxic and Confuse Ray before they have a chance to pull out the big guns =P I also used to use Aerodactyl and Venusaur heavily in my RBY teams, now you mention it.

	i usully get a gyarados. you can get one relatively early in the game. buy a magykarp from the dude in the pokecenter that is at the foot of mt. moon. jolteon is also a great choice. dragonite is worth it if you have the patience.
