And so the TWEWY Spriting Thread army set off, their destination being Japan. Unfortunately, no airline whatsoever would let them on board because of their rather large amassment of weapons of moderate destruction. And pitchtorches, which constituted both a fire and a stabbing hazard.
And so, they just went home and downloaded the movie Kanon wanted to watch illegally. They gave it 7/10 stars on rotten tomatoes. The End.

The first sprite was half made by me.
The second row contains a teaser for the continuation of the clown sprites i made a while back.
And the third row is just a few old sprites that i decided to fix up and redo some parts.

Is it still gold under the chocolate coating?

So I just joined, and tried to make a sprite, it turned out ok, but it seemed like a lot of work, and I only made a few changes to neku. How do you make the complicated ones?

How to get better at spriting:

1. To start off, master the art of recoloring sprites and shading.
2. Next start copying and pasting body parts to other sprites. E.x Take the arm band off of neku and put it on joshua.
3. Start small by switching around body parts and re-coloring them. (in other words, just experiment and see which combo you like)
4. Then start to challenging yourself to make more complex sprites. Instead of copying and pasting and recoloring, you can try and draw clothes or faces.
5. PRACTICE PRACTICE AND MORE PRACTICE. Keep practicing and experimenting and never give up.

Nice to see some more activity around here, I'll try and do some more spriting myself to help stave off another post dearth. My theorem is that they happen in the neo dry season every year. The precise time of gear at which it occurs is essentially random.
