Yeah... I always assumed that the Composer had the ability to rewrite everyone's memories. Maybe Neku, Shiki, Beat and Rhyme went on vacation... to the woods, with no one else around. Sounds like a bad slash fic actually.

They're already rewriting reality one way. Doing it another, presumably less significant, way doesn't create any consistencies when we don't have any concrete rules how they did it at all to begin with.

I was half expecting Kefira to give an "I don't care about my mom" response. Dunno why.

I always thought that Joshua screws around with the memories of every living person involved so it's like the Player(s) never died. I read a fic once ("The Shibuya Miracle" or something like that) where such memory shuffling didn't happen, and the gang all woke up in freezers or on autopsy tables, and it was in all the papers, and they became famous, etc. etc. etc. That seems pretty weird, considering that Neku and the gang can't be the only ones to have won the Game.

I think it's hinted that Neku had a really good school friend who died, and then that's how Neku became so emo. I think it was hinted when Neku is chasing Mr. H up Pork City in Another Day.

Everyone knows about the game and thus people coming back to life is normal. Duh.
