Anguis is useless against any enemy that moves, basically. You're better off using one of the other Noise pins. As to which one is the strongest after Anguis, I have no clue.
I used to have a set up I tried based on the Rhino noise pin. It was really just a novelty deck, made so that I could have some fun with the giant cleaver <3
But I ended up having to fill the rest of my deck with pins that immobilized the enemy. So you could use those pins to use Anguis efficiently, along with things like Tin Pin Bahamut and the Big Bang/Crunch.
The pins I used were ones that revolved around immobility, most being from Pavo Real like the 'Poison Chain' pin. Then there was one that encased the enemy in rock and prevented movement... I think it was called "Long Live The Rock". Oh! And you could also try something with the Tether(sp?) pins.
Also, Lightning Rook. Can't believe I had to be the one to say it...
I adored that pin when I first tried out ranged attacks <33333 But I replaced it for Excalibur from Pegaso and the Electric/Thunder Warning pin from Mus Rattus.
I don't care much about their names but their pictures. And I like to use this..... BTW it's said that there's never a strongest but a stronger....and it depends on ur habits.

<3333 Kefira, that's Lightning Rook. Or Bishop? I'm not sure, but yeah, that's a very good pin to have. I used that one after it evolved from another pin.
In blunt power, I think Anguis is pretty definitive. But depending on how you play and how your deck is set up, you could have completely different results.
