RPG series The Witcher has topped four million in sales -- not too bad at all for a relatively new developer from Poland nobody had ever heard of.
When I'd checked in back in February (prior to the release of The Witcher 2 on Xbox 360), The Witcher had exceeded two million in sales, and The Witcher 2 had hit 1.1 million. Using rough estimation and a little guesswork, it can be said the 360 version of The Witcher 2 likely sold about one million copies.
The Witcher hit its figure after over four years of sales; The Witcher 2 has been selling for a little over a year. The latter is coming to Japan via Xbox 360 in August, and later this year Mac users will be able to get in on it too. Read my review here if you're unfamiliar with the game.
