Might be part of the problems which were the reason 2.40 was pulled. -------------------  | |

I doubt it has anything to do with Oblivion specifically - quite a few people have encountered problems with the update. Is Oblivion the only game where that happens? -------------------  | |

Eureka/Silver Mirror the problem that was encountered with the update was that it bricked some systems. This seems to be something different completely, and sony did say that if your lucky to have downloaded it without it having bricked your system, then you'll be fine. ------------------- | |
